Reginella Campagnola/The Woodpecker Song (An Historic Accordion Cover)

Don't worry, I'm not done with video game/nerd music yet, just have been having a lot of fun trying to make sense out of some new folk music recently. This one is another challenge from the Polish Accordion forum (forum.akordeonowe.pl/utwor-wyz.... It's actually the first time I've seriously dug into any Italian music, despite having played accordion for a long time. (No, I don't think the Godfather theme counts...) Presumably the subtitle comes from the repeated 8th notes at the top and middle of the piece. I flubbed my ending a bit, but my camera was running out of batteries so decided to stick with this take rather than record another. Enjoy!
