The original of this song doesn't even come close to the live version. This version is nice. But the live version will blow you away! I listen to that 10 minute live regularly and it's still one of my favourite performances ever in human history.
John Mayer has become one of my favorite artists of all time! His writing skills are unmatched. Can you check out another tear jerker? It's called Stop This Train. It's about that feeling of life moving too fast (in a nutshell)
When my favorite Aunt died of cancer two years ago, Stop This Train was the only way I could articulate my feelings at the time. It will forever hold a special place in my heart.
