Sadly I was just hanging out and not recording, but I essentially kept a really tight kiting path that involved going up the wooden ramp, across the boards just past the fire barrel, jumping onto healing wraps, up onto the statue, jumping off on the left where the speed pot is, and running back to the ramp.
hey @jtcLIVE, nice run you had there. A couple of questions if I may, regarding your build. 1. I see you use riposte + charmed life. Don't these two contradict each other? I mean if you are dodging out of attacks, you are not procing riposte right? Wouldn't "cast away" be more viable here (since riposte can be activated while pushing)? And if you are actually trying to proc riposte during fights, wouldn't "parry" be more fitting for rapier (instead of swift slaying) to get the extra benefit of stamina restore? In which case, "cast away" would be obsolete but one could argue that "heretic sighted" would be necessary to compensate for the reduced attack speed? I think that the idea is to proc riposte while using the rapier sidearm, thus procing swift slaying = attack speed, but it seems to me like too much trouble to get something that is easy to get anyway for the whc with normal attacks (meaning critical hits). 2. Do you think that flense is worth it? I know the bleeding ticks don't do that much damage, but its still consistent, reliable damage. You would have cleared those chaos warriors much faster with flence, while riposte only activated 3 or 4 times during the video. I know you were kitting, and not focusing on damage, but if you cant use all your talents during an extreme scenario like this, isn't this a waste of a talent? 3. Do you believe that wild fervour is better than "heretic sighted"? +5% crit chance isn't that much, while you can basically have "heretic sighted" activated for a whole run and +10% attack speed is always nice -more attack speed = more crits yes? Also I always wondered is there actually an attack speed cap for the rapier specifically? Since it's so fast, having attack speed more than -I dunno, 50% (just guessing)-, would be meaningless since there is a maximum speed that the animation needs so it can be visually performed? Has anyone maybe tested this? Thanks for the time you took to read this, if you actually read this xD Cheers!
1) No talents really 'contradict' each other. Riposte is an offensive talent like flense is while charmed life is a defensive talent like cast away is, although they both still have differences in how exactly they are offensive/defensive. Charmed life is always going to be better than cast away because its better to dodge attacks and never get hit in the first place rather than attempt to divert your attention to your stamina and try to keep it up with cast away. Charmed life also makes it much easier to kite in situations like this, and my kiting would been much more difficult if I did not have it (and there was one point I would have died if I didn't have it, around the 4:00 mark IIRC). Parry is good but swift slaying is better because extra attack speed = extra damage, and while it does synergize with parry it doesn't outweight the benefits that SS has to warrant running it over SS 2) Many say flense is better than riposte so its worth it for sure, although I just like riposte better 3) Wild fervor is better on high crit weapons like rapier while heretic sighted is better on low crit weapons like flail/2h sword/falchion. Cheers!

Hey I know that guy!
Hey, I know you
What do you think of dry magic?
Hey I know both these guys!
@@jony_tough id rather it be wet than moist.

listen sometimes you just gotta do some jazzy scat alright

Two of my favorite Vermin tide streamers in one stream!? Let us go.
Kinda wanna see wet magics pov aswell. In sticky situations, I rarely have time to think what the others are dealing with.

Hey, jtcLIVE, could you make a video about your own builds at one point? A generic overview of what you usually like to run as an example?
Why is the Magic Wet and how wet is it?

So why were the other two not respawning? Was it just started as a duo or did you add Abduction to it?
They both died after the wave had already started, so there were no more respawns until the end
Some outstanding gameplay right there!

Might sound odd but how does one access this stage/event?
There are hidden items in the back to Ubershreik missions. Collect them all and you unlock Fortunes of War.
Nice run guys!
Bro the crouch waddle under the bile troll? I'll have to remember that next time I get cornered by one.
Great damn run, man!!
So does cata fortunes of war just infinitely roll the waves?
Its a limited number of waves that have set spawns, after which the map ends
what was your build ?
My typical WHC build (Rapier and BoP with cleave THP/riposte/assassin/charmed life/Unending hunt)
@@jtcLIVE yeah that's pretty basic but does it needs any breakpoints or just crit chance and stamina is enough on rapier
Dang
