I wished you'd realize that if you can't be with an animal and you don't have anyone who also loves him to be with him then you shouldn't have it. Animals are like children in an emergency who's suppose to save him. They understand that they're being abandoned and that they're in a helpless situation.

I used to have an Australian Shepard. Told him one day I was going to be busy so he couldn’t come to work. He went to my wife, who re-iterated that I said he couldn’t go the work with me that day. As I’m talking to my wife in the hall shortly thereafter, he walks past between us, opens the front door, and heads out to the vehicle. I turned to my wife and said “I guess he’s coming to work!”.
When we leave for work, one of my dogs rolls her eyes, sighs and pretends to be asleep as I reach to pet her goodbye. She squeezes her eyes shut and even freaking snores. Snores. When we get home though, she is fully awake and ready to love on us ❤ Gotta love those pups 🐶 ❤️
Mine would give me the silent treatment in the car when I'd drive him home from his daycare. He's a Cairn Terrier but was the alpha dog in the big dog room, he was king. He'd ignore me the entire ride home, turning his face to the back window because I took the king away from his kingdom. RIP Leo.
My Oliver would do the same when I take him home from doggie daycare/boarding. He would be so mad for the whole car ride home and a full day. He crossed the rainbow bridge too. I hope Oliver and Leo are playing together and are fast friends.
She is the most precious thing in the world ! Make sure you give her lots of kisses, cuddles, treats and whatever else her heart desires, when you return 😍

My second dog is a licking and kissy machine. I can't even have shorts on in the house or he follows behind me licking my calves. If my hand goes below my knee, it's getting licked too. When I leave for work, I get that same kind of moping, and he refuses to give me ANY kisses on my ear before I leave. It's SOOOOO SAD!!!!!
I talk talk talk to my best buddy Butkus. He’s a 11 lb. Bundle of chi. People probobly think I’m mentally unstable for talking to my Butkus boy like I do daily but Butkus listens to the tone of my voice and guides me daily as he’s the best pup in the whole wide world. I say that 20 times a day.
"....look you have your sister!" "...yeah...it's a stupid cat." 5 minutes after she leaves the dog chews up 4 pillows and chases the cat through the china cabinet and they have a large time for the rest of the day.
Let's admit it, we've all had this conversation with our dogs when we have to leave them alone, and when we walk out the door, we feel guilty as hell.
