    It was first used at least during the Copper Age: dolmen, menhirs, underground tuning keys, listening chambers (called beehive "tombs"). Linguistics are revealing!

    reminds me of an electromechanical relay,because of the electromagnet used to open and close the switch.
    tip:heat the EM nail as much as you can,but do not melt it.because soft iron,which you get by heating an iron nail,is magnetic only when current passes through,but on the other hand,regular iron nails retain a lot of magnetism even when the current is off,do this so the nail doesn't stick to the lid,i used too much turns,like 400 on the biggest nail i could find,and the lid just got stuck to the nail, just posted this tip to make sure nobody repeats this mistake.

      Check your wire and make sure it is all getting electricity, add extra coils, or make sure you have a big iron or steel nail

      It becomes the station, the thing I built transmits the Morse code in the form of radio waves, which you can get on a radio

      There is no antenna used, if you wanted to increase signal I think adding an antenna to somewhere around the nail is best, but I’m not really sure

      The most it’ll do is reach up a few miles. On a perfect day with proper propagation it’ll reach about a few hundred miles but only if ur lucky.
      And most importantly. You need an amateur radio license for this and need to make your transmitter INSIDE of the amateur radio bands. Otherwise the FCC will come and get you.
