In a place like Scotland, it's not a surprise that you'd have multiple words to describe the mists. Quite glad we've got you to pronounce all these places for us. Phonics are not followed well in Scotland. Love that you've started to put a point on a map so we can see whereabout you are. You're also getting really good with that new camera. Love the reworks you've done with your intro expositions and graphics. We're getting a good sense of what you're about beyond a string of amazing views. Your boss is amazing for giving you the day when you had a good weather window. Paddy was SO up for this one. You were obviously not the only one stoked that you got the day off to head out. It was only cloudy because you brought the sun lotion Paul. If you'd left it in the car, you'd have been cooked. After a year in the mountains, I'm convinced that's how this stuff works. Wow! What a comment JR! Thank you so much... The pronunciations are not easy for me either! Everyone you speak to has their own idea of just how it should sound...still you are getting my bestest attempt 😁. I have reverted back to my gopro! The big camera has proved to be a bit cumbersome on longer days so I will keep that for camping or wee walks over the winter. Paddy loves these walks...he sleeps for 2 days after though🐕😂. I have so many holiday days to take that I will probably be out more Wednesdays upto Christmas and your right it's even more quiet than as we get into the colder weather....day dreaming for some blue sky snowy days! Hi Paul, another great video. At least the sun came out in the end. What a setting for lunch😍. Beautiful. Had a weekend in Dunoon to attend a gig in the Queen's Hall and managed a wee walk in Puck's Glen. It was Tolkienesque. A fantastic short walk in you are ever in the area.

Cracking video Paul, when I went up we intended to do it anti clockwise but missed the turn off point, and thought it was better clockwise. The bit at the bench is truly breathtaking. It’s always good to get a sneaky day off for the hills. And we’ll done wee paddy.👍🏔🏴

Of course almost all Scottish Single Malts. We visited five distilleries in Scotland, my poor wife had to come with us, haha. And we even made Ardbeg popular in an Alaskan mining village, cause we enjoyed an Ardbeg Ten every evening after gold prospecting. Than we made a tasting night with friends from Alaska and other states. The Ardbeg 10 clearly won against the bourbons etc. What's your favorite?

I usually buy 3 bottles, one for keeping, one for swapping and one for drinking! Slainte!

Before we went, a good friend of us, who lives there, was shopping in Fairbanks and noticed three bottles of Ardbeg Dark Cove for a pretty low price. It was around 120-130 dollar per bottle or so. He texted me and I immediately asked him to buy all three bottles for us. One was a gift for him, the second, we emptied together, when we visited him and the third is now in the collection of my brother in law. I still have video of the moment, when we opened the Dark Cove in Alaska together. I plan to include this footage in a video, I will tell you, when it's edited. I'll tell my brother in law about you, he looooves Ardbeg and I do as well.

Here is my dark cove story......I bought two bottles, one for my collection and one for drinking...Now I have several bottles of the ten year old in my collection. I sneakily asked my wife to go and put a bottle of the ardbeg ten in a bag and give it to him....5 minutes later, all pleased with myself I watched him pull out the bottle of dark cove! he was so happy! I on the other hand was crying inside....My wife laughed about this for weeks!

Yeah Steven we had a guide for 4 days. We did Bla Bheinn ourselves the first day and then 4 big days on the main ridge! Scary, exhausting, exciting and very memorable. Not loads of footage though as it’s very much hands on all the time 👍

Hi there! There is a large free car park at the start of the walk. It’s the Creag meagaidh nature reserve park. If you are walking just to the lochan I think around an hour at a good pace should take you there. It’s pretty straightforward all the way to the lochan and there is that amazing bench seat! @@andythemunroeater9884 Cheers Andy! What a walk today! We were in the middle of absolutely nowhere and headed for a wee bothy for some shelter and food. I opened the door and there was the fire blazing and 3 mancunians sitting enjoying the heat. Only in the mountains! Paul

Yeah Steven we had a guide for 4 days. We did Bla Bheinn ourselves the first day and then 4 big days on the main ridge! Scary, exhausting, exciting and very memorable. Not loads of footage though as it’s very much hands on all the time 👍
I know im late to the party but was just wondering where you park and how long it takes to get to the lochan? If anyone can help me out jd really appreciate it 👍
Hi there! There is a large free car park at the start of the walk. It’s the Creag meagaidh nature reserve park. If you are walking just to the lochan I think around an hour at a good pace should take you there. It’s pretty straightforward all the way to the lochan and there is that amazing bench seat!
