5:54 I think the Basket Building is cute. I saw it on another video about "strange" buildings. Just because something is different doesn't make it ridiculous or something to be made fun of. I especially like the way the windows are arranged.

It's the only one I don't find ridiculous. It even has a legitimate reason for the design.

3:19 Afraid to enter, but not afraid to walk around it? I do understand why tourists wouldn't visit the tacky house. Advice: stay as far away from the building as possible if you're afraid of it.

You did not do your research on Habitat 67. THAT was what the future should have looked like back then. It is totally entrenched in the 60's utopia vision of the future on an architectural level.

Hey Eric Canlas also has a twisted building design in Malaysia called Naza Tower, a 50-storey commercial building, highlights its “twisted” feature which was recognized as Asia Pacific’s Best Commercial High-Rise Development at the 2012-13 International Property Awards. Naza Tower is an eco-friendly structure which has an energy-saving voltage, variable-frequency motors and inbuilt rainwater harvesting system.
As a child, Canlas aspired to become an artist. But when he went to University of Santo Thomas (UST) to apply for the Fine Arts program, he ended up in a wrong queue for architecture. He says he went to the shortest line, but studying architecture at the UST was meant to be.
Canlas went to Malaysia to work with national artist for architecture Leandro V. Locsin on the Istana Nurul Iman for the Sultan of Brunei. While there he met a Malaysian-Chinese who later on became his wife. He has lived in Malaysia since then.
Canlas is now a professor at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus in Kuala Lumpur. He also maintains his design practice. He credits his achievements to his passion which took him to the right place at the right time.

I personally dislike your term “crazy” used to describe these buildings. These imaginative creations are works of art, and completely functional, with the exception of the giant “sandcastle”. Incredible, would be a better term for description. The only truly CRAZY one is the building at MIT that contains structural flaws.

I think the Shanghai Ren building is beautiful. I cannot tell if the shape makes it dysfunctional but otherwise I think it’s wonderful. Skyscrapers are never human scale, but putting that aside, it’s a piece of sculpture.

    I enjoyed the video.If I built a crazy building,it would have a Base Diameter
of 200m and a Height of 2000m.It would be made with Steel,Concrete and
other Materials. There will Shops in the first two levels. The 3rd and 4th
levels will be Offices. All the other levels will be Accommodation to
Rent. The Top level will be a Food/Drink area where the general public
can sit down and enjoy the Food. The Top Level will also include a
Walk Around Area to see the Views.
    I would call my Building,”The Sonic Booster”.❤️🙏🏻❤️.
