    I bought one, 7 Month ago. Last Week, I lost a Part of one Leg. I called them to ask, if I can buy Parts. They told me to send them a Picture and a Copy of the Bill, so they give it to me for free. And 2 Days later, they sent me a complete new Leg. The Tripod wasn´t damaged. I must haven´t tightened the Screws enough. It was only my Fault. And they took the Costs. So I can not only recommend the Tripod, I recommend the whole Company.

    Looking for a compact tripod for fishing trips. I was looking at this and following your review will definitely get this one. Great review👍

    My first experience with this kind of locking mechanism was a disaster, so i was reluctant to get this one. What a pleasant surprise; the locks work VERY well.
    TIP: If using heavy cameras get a head that doesn't 'drift' when it's in position.
    Otherwise, a very good choice indeed.

    Benutzt ihr das Stativ auch mal draussen ? Ich meine, nicht auf der Couch ?

      @TerryLivesey  Год назад

      Ja 🤣, die ganze Zeit. Es ist so leicht und tragbar, aber auf der Couch funktioniert es am besten 🤦‍♂️

    Is this the same company as Rolleiflex? Who made very nice medium format TLR film cameras. I still wish I had one, even just for the nostalgia

      Owww don't know about that, interesting history to the company if it is.

    Thanks for the video! I hesitate between this and the C5i Carbon. Can the Traveler Compact be used with a Sony A7 III in combination with a Sigma 100-400 lens (without gondola)?

      Not sure what the weight of all that is so would check that against what they recommend. I wouldn't want to guess and give you the wrong info 🧐 sorry if that's not helpful enough.

    Thanks for the video, very helpful! Just wondering, what's the material of the screw-tighten rings on the leg joints? I've seen rubber, metal, and plastic in other models and can't tell with these

    • @TerryLivesey
      @TerryLivesey  Год назад +1

      Owww great questions. I've just took it apart to look at for you. It's a plastic thread with an outer rubber ring for grip. The internal shims are made of plastic as well. At least they won't rust in salt water 👍
