Now, gas is around $3, depending on where you live, the Federal minimum wage is $7.25 or more depending on where you live, auto workers make between $35 to $50 per hour, plus benefits, and people wonder why cars are so expensive. Another point, vehicles of today, whether a car or pickup truck, are far more capable than the vehicles of 50 years ago. In 1972, a typical vehicle may go 100,000 miles if maintained properly. EVs are new tech in the early stages of development. Think autos in their early 1910-25 period. GM's Buick division so far has missed the opportunity to give re-birth to Buick trademarked model name ELECTRA.Meanwhile Rivian is on the cusp to release the lowest price EV SUVs every to hit the US Roadways with they R2/R3/R3X models.
So GM had to close down some Buick dealerships because those ones didn't want to sell EVs? If that the case then that's why dealerships aren't right for most EVs and should do online only.
"why" and "should", but not until the laws change!
What Buick EVs?
Let be honest who would buy a buick ev .
Not like buick sells new cars anyway, it’s like the 80s again where only old people who know nothing about cars buy them.
@aimxdy8680 Most people know nothing about cars today. That is how automakers get away with selling the gas guzzling SUVs and pickup trucks and the disposable electric vehicles. They are all garbage.
Mathematically XAI308K should be at $100 by end of this year
"Wouldn't you really rather have a Buick?"
Ick American garbage
More of a DeSoto man myself.
Sure
Ultium platform SEVEN MORE YEARS!!!!!! RIP GM.
3200 EVs ??? China is making over 1,000,000 per month. My god is the US on the short bus.
FYI, Tesla model Y is the best selling vehicle globally (US brand) You must be a chinese bot.
Read the other comments. Autoline was likely inaccurate
EVs are goung up in flames .., literally.
Why do US automakers continue to make ugly cars that look like they're from the last century?
News Flash.....THE CUSTOMER DOES NOT WANT AN EV, AT ANY PRICE.
Sorry, never saw the video, two long commercials and my short attention span moved me on.
Did GM pay back all the money when the US government helped then out?
Find out yourself!Why so lazy?
@@BrunoHeggli-zp3nl probably sarcasm on my fart
Yes
Will GM be in business within a decade? Probably not.
china's inexpensive work force and agressive funding from their government makes it difficult for American companies to compete
@@mikemiller659Not tesla model Y as it’s the best selling vehicle globally, and top 3 best selling in China domestic market while being 2-3x the price the chinese ev’s there.
So 25000 tons of lithium is enough for 3200 evs. Each ev uses 10 tons of lithium
The amount of lithium required to make one electric vehicle (EV) battery varies depending on the type and size of the battery. With 25,000 metric tons of lithium, you could produce approximately 2.38 million EV batteries based on an average of 10.5 kg of lithium per battery.
I hear that EVs are heavier than gas cars….. 😂
When will he realize that there's no car company called "Jepung"?
😂😂😂 that's how he read xiaopeng, I told him before (through comment) looks like he didn't read it.
Jepung is a close enough pronunciation of X-peng.
@@YSKWatch I've commented before too. Yankees can't read. No wonder they're losing out on AI. 😂
Thought ‘brotha’bama saved GM?
Not China 😢
*CHYYYNA!!! CHYYYNA!!! CHYYYNA!!!*
It's been the new world power for a while now.
EVs are new tech in the early stages of development. Think autos in their early 1910-25 period. New battery tech is on the way with long range solid state batteries, for example, in the next 7 years or so. EVs are the future, but not now. Plug in hybrids are the way to go right now. But ICE vehicles are old tech and are at the end of the line. Europe and Asia are far ahead of the US in alternative energy and EVs. China has EVs for every purpose available right now, including small affordable ones. The MG4 in Europe is an example. Honda has the Fit/Jazz hybrid with 60mpg+ in Europe. Didn’t bring the new model here because of small profit margins. I have a 2019 Fit. The best auto I’ve ever owned.
Thus, there are no small affordable vehicles available in the US. The big three couldn’t build reliable cars if they wanted to. Looking for profits instead of quality.
Lastly, We cannot continue to throw junk in the air, increase our planet temperature, bringing climate change with resultant intense weather as we have been experiencing the past few years if we humans expect to survive.
GM got problems to with Ceo Mary Barra should be fired, failure of engines to 2019-present, transmission, brakes, fuel pump, shift drive, and many other things image that again. Yes they GM profits ,sale GM headquarters ,cutting jobs doesn't help not answering customers problems she keep making more mistakes like old boss when he was 2009. 😅😅😅😅😅 GM ceo Mary Barra needs better taking care customers before profits image that again. 😅😅😅😅
Like GM old ceo Rick Wagoner was fired 2009 and now GM ceo Mary Barra should be fired to from 2019 -present engines failure replacement about 6.5 million vehicles Gmc Sierra, Chevy Silverado, GMC Yukon, Chevy Tahoe and Cadillac Escalade image that, transmission, brakes and many other things. Shame on GM ceo Mary Barra and board members of GM.
Mary Barra is great!
These rolling laptops are un-affordable.
SCAM BOTS ARE STRONG ON THIS PAGE BEWARE
When XAI308K makes the mainstream news it's going to BOOM... now is our chance to get rich
Let's go XAI308K📈🙏💯
Hey dude that's almost 6.5 Million EV's - hope the rest of your presentation is more accurate. Good grief.
What people need to understand is that those ICE models will be the last in their lines. They'll all be replaced with fully electric by the time their cycle ends.
I suspect you're wrong. We have a maladministration that is wedded to oil and coal, I doubt there's any likelihood of IC engines going away in the near term.
Nope, the Green New Scam is over in America.
@@davidg3944The Coal Miners never got their jobs back and we use WAY Less Coal and Coal plants in the US than we did in 2016. The Big Angry Orange Clown can’t actually stop technology that’s ALREADY dominating other countries and markets Globally at a scale that makes the US seem small. China and Much of Europe will be nearly 100% EVs by the end of the decade. Together that’s TWICE the size of the US market. ICE vehicles sales collapsing as economies of scale go away for ICE vehicles.
EV economies of scale are increasing.
Bro failed grade 6 math.
Is anybody looking into the probable increase in Chinese EV market share in Europe and eventually the US? Given the Trump Administration's reversal in the prescient Biden moves to help Detroit prepare to advance the EV segments, what gives?
$4.375 billion That is how much Share holders agreed to pay Elon in stock options in 2018. Just because the stock is worth more today does not change the deal. We still agree to allow him to buy those 303 million shares. Imagine giving someone $4.37 then they give you back over $1,000 just 7 years later. That is a great deal. Elon did the impossible. Pay him!
Game over for Tesla!
How about Musk selling "Swasti-cars?" Undoubtedly, this will be an undercurrent of pragmatic thought among shareholders; I wonder just how it will manifest into questions & answers? Assuming, of course, that Musk is even willing to address such concerns.
AfD is excited about some good deals soon in Germany.
There will be a gigantic shift from BTC to XAI308K...this will be a fact. Still baffled by Michael Saylor's position.
Is no one gonna ask them if the board is OK with an obvious not Z as the CEO?
sounds like something a not Z would comment
@ how so? I mean taking the side of a death squad that murdered over six million innocent people, many women, and children is not a joke. Are YOU on their side like Elon is? Ask me directly me directly like an adult, and I’ll answer. Will you?
Best way to unencumber the company from all his baggage. He can go play with his other toys.
@@mcsike7264 I would rather be trolled by you, then be on video giving a salute that they did.
The board is full of Edolf's simps so they don't care
Your channel seems to focus on EV’s for which I have Zero interest.
Any investment in EV production is a waste.
Nothing wrong with long production cycles if you have a product that people want to buy. But, when you are 10 years behind the competition and they are accelerating... that is "poor business planning". Unless the goal is huge tax payer bailouts? Maybe if we give GM another $200 billion in tax money they can keep the doors open another 10 years?
Don't forget when Elon Musk said XAI308K is better than BTC.This remind us, BTC has no utility
nobody's talkin about XAI308K up 200% in 24 hrs??... iv doubled my investment overnight.. talk about that austin
