- Army Housing Services Office Provides a comprehensive menu of services for Service Members, DoD Civilians and their Families
Provide off-post housing counseling and referral assistance. Coordinate with local licensed real estate specialists, apartment managers and landlords to jointly inspect housing for adequacy. Assist when complaints cannot be resolved between landlord and tenant. Educate customers about property rental application fees and utility waivers. Review lease agreements and help tenants understand their rights and responsibilities. Assist in resolving problems with utility connections, fees, deposits, billings. Investigate housing discrimination complaints. Review available community programs and resources. Provide area maps, computer access and telephones to assist with housing search. Provide relocation assistance for the next duty station.
