- EPIC Day in the Life PORTUGAL, Ericeira ✨ | Surfer, Digital Nomad, + Expat's Dream Come True?!
Join me in a day as I vlog my life in Portugal. I'm currently in Ericeira, Portugal a quiet surf town with amazing vibes, kind locals, a super friendly expat and digital nomad community, and a great nightlife. If you've been thinking about moving to Portugal as a digital nomad or expat, then this video will help you decide if it's a good fit for you! I LOVE Portugal (and especially Ericeira) because the surfing is wonderful, the food is delicious, and it's easy to feel at home in such a quaint town.
In this vlog, I show you the beaches Praia Foz do Lizandro, and Praid do Sul. I take you with me to Quicksilver Boardriders in Ericeira--an awesome place to get coffee and take a skateboard or surf skate lesson. I take you downtown Ericeira and in the evening we head back to Boardriders, because it's Live music Friday! You also see a little bit of the Ericeira nightlight at Ay Mamita.
Also, if you've wondered if Portugal is a safe place to live or not, I think you'll see there's a reason why digital nomads have been flocking to Portugal and why it's one of the top-rated countries for expats to retire.

Portugal culture is similar to the US and other EU countries, heavily individualistic in general (certain area may not). You can be surrounded by many people but you may still like living alone...South East Asia countries including Indonesia/Bali have collectivist cultures, you feel like you live in societies and you are part of these societies that make you do not feel like living alone.
Looks like an ideal day! I am planning to travel to Portugal November 2024 for three weeks so it was nice to see what feels like there.
Hi. You'll be arriving very close to the winter season and on peak surf season. Be mindfull that waves and swell are pretty agresivwle then. That late fall is usually pretty cloudy and gloomy, so outdoor activities won't be so comendable. Be sure to plan your trip well so you can make the most of the portuguese experience

Portugal is by far the most boring country I’ve been to in Europe. It’s cheap but not worth, in my opinion. Paris, Nice or the amalfi coast for me.
