they have something called ARC (active roll control) which is essential an active anti roll bar that pushes down against the force of the corner. for example if you turn hard left it will push down on the rhs drop link effectively eliminating the body roll.

That camera angle right in the middle is perfect! Try use that in majority of the cars you drive. It really is an improvement from the last time I mentioned it. Before you used to use the camera angle right behind your right side.

Can’t believe he’s driving it in GENERAL with AUTO selected. The centre dial changes the mode settings. Turned far left is the DYNAMIC mode. The suspension and handling stiffens up massively in this mode and the gears are more responsive. It also opens the tail pipes too.
Then needs to be put in SPORT mode by pushing the gear stick to the left. In this mode it’s a completely different car.
I’ve owned one for nearly 2 years and never get board of it. My neighbours love hearing it every morning too! 😉
One of the most surprising things I’ve found is the fuel economy. It’s 35 miles from my house to where I work and I normally get around 25mpg. Amazing car. One thing missing from the car he’s driving. Needs the fixed side steps from Urban. Looks even meaner with these. Much better than the dealership ones in my opinion. 👌

Daniel Sadjadian 100% agree with you, this JLR SV8 is the only nice sounding V8 in production today. It’s a shame Merc didn’t go back to the supercharged days with their new 4.0 as that would’ve sound amazing.
Yes that would have been nice, back to the days of the E55 AMG. Could have been great for Jaguar too, a nice way to keep the supercharged V8 aline in their cars, whilst meeting regulations/etc...

in terms of an overall suv, yes its the best... but if we speak of performance, then x5m/x6m takes the crown.

Yeah it’s the best SUV you can buy a-lot of torque and power and less body roll! but not best gearbox as it’s from ZF....the cayenne turbo beats this with the PDK gearbox actually. But the SVR really is a good all round SUV! Keep em coming Ricky
Sully the pdk is a different type of gearbox all together, this is a fully blown auto with a torque converter..... btw both pdk and this box are made by ZF!
Daniel Day yeah that’s right it’s literally an old school automatic transmission with torque converter...really though? I thought VW Porsche made their PDK them selves
Nope it's a ZF gearbox just like the Porsche manual gearbox. Bmw Audi Alfa Romeo Chrysler etc etc all use the ZF 8 speed auto on the big HP and big torque applications

Try a BMW X6M that thing is savage, owned/been in some fast motors over the years and I still rate the X6M as one of the best cars ive been in(you can keep your big powered GTR's, M3/M4) The X6M can do most cars while my pet labrador licking the back window with enough space for the kids in the back !!!
