This song is beautiful! I love it in both English and Spanish. It also gives a lot of meaning to the pandemic. The refrain about being “wrapped in your arms where it’s peaceful back in your arms where I’m happy...” makes me think of how long I went without hugging my loved ones. When I got vaccinated for covid, the feeling of being able to go out, hug and see people after over a year felt so liberating. I almost forgot what it felt like to hug someone other than my husband, sit next to someone without a mask, eat a meal with someone, etc. The masks, isolation, and social distancing were hell for me and many others. I didn’t feel human. I’m also happy that many of my loved ones are also fully vaccinated. At least now we can live much more normally.
