I started niqab while I was 15 I used to be the only one sitting fully covered up in the classroom and at that time I used to study in urdu school (only Muslims). I used to face lot of backlash from other kids it didn't hurt me that much but it did hurt when my family was not supportive. I was quite sensitive emotionally back then so I used to feel so bad about it. Now when I am about to be 18 it doesn't really matter what others says to me I wear it confidently and now it's my identity. I still hear many things such as you are doing this for attention, why are you being so extreme? , you are just insecure about how u look. I just pray that may Allah guide all of us ameen
For all the people facing Criticism by MUSLIMS , you'll laugh at the ones who use to laugh at you in dunya, this is a temporary thing, trust me you made your aakhirah subhanallah. Keep it up with your hijab!!!! It's amazing to see how brave and strong you are to face such Criticism at an early age , nothing will go to waste inshallah. Indeed Allah swt is watching everything.

I'm in the process of going back to the truth after a liberal life style. Recently started with hijab but it's a very tough phase of my life. Saddest thing is that some of my own family and work colleagues are non supportive. I have to face a mocking sarcastic smile most of the time. I know the jilbab would be one of the biggest test but I'm praying ALLAH SWT for strength to bear it all.

Aoa I'm a university student and literally this ramadan i'm thinking to wear hijab but in my university i saw a lot of girls in burqah but their habits are not good not only me but everyone can see what they do even in burqah Astaghfirullah and i'm not a hijabi i don't wear any burqah not only me there are a lot of girls and womens who don't wear burqah or hijab but they are so good their habits are good so i think you should not judge a book by its cover and can't give the title of "shareef" to only those who wear burqah or hijab. Obviously you should wear hijab because its Allah's Law ❤ May Allah guide us and guide me to carry on my hijab ❤
Nonsupportive, family is the biggest hurdle and it really hurts When your own family is not supportive. At that time the greatest strength comes when you realise you are doing it for Allah alone your Lord every thing comes after him❤

What I have seen is that yes many females have started taking scarfs and it is very common now but niqab is still not encouraged by our society. I have not a single female in my family or acquaintence who does a niqab or a strict sharai parda...im the first one who has just started it...n our relatives whether male or female are not comfortable with me wearing that niqab. I feel like an alien among them but i dnt care as Im doing it for Allah. Today if one wants to get hired by a good multinational or any company there are very low to no chances of a niqabi getting hired. Even elite class schools wont let niqabi girls enter as teachers. I have been working in a bank n all we used to do was dress up very well and put on a lot of makeup and matching accessories n try to look the best. The environment for niqabis needs to improve in this regard...The bank wont prefer to hire a niqabi over a fashionable girl. Niqabis have very less motivation from society.
May Allah give you ease, Allah tests those He Loves. They will get used to it ins’ Allah. My family is also starting to accept it, Alhamdulilah. Just smile and let your heart relax confiding in Allah. The believers have Allah as their Protector, but the disbelievers have no protector. No matter if someone calls you a ninja, jinn/bhoot, saying that you look scary, people will think you are jahil, backward etc. Allah Loves those who strive enough to reward them for it. Trust Allah, He is verily the Wadud, The Loving One.
Don't want to offend you but wearing niqab leads to security issues. You can never determine a person's identity if she's wearing hijab. That's why multi national companies and other institutions don't encourage it. Also it's not even supposed to be worn during hajj so one can't be sure if it's part of Islamic teachings. I am only talking about face covering here.

Multinationals earn millions/ billions in dollars, the private schools are earning in billions. Cant they hire a female security guard to verify the identities and conduct physical checks? It is all about priorities. I have been in the corporate culture and have been working in a bank. I exactly know we are trying hard to promote a burger, liberal culture with modern girls to entertain our customers and make everything look american. My classfellow told me about his office in islamabad where a very modern girl went for an interview and she was only hired by his boss because he was happy k ab office me mza aey ga iski wja se there will be a cool sight and he even offered her 30k more salary just to not let her go. The security thing is an excuse. I have been in the bank where every other day a niqabi women used to come to us for receiving foreign remittances or opening an account. Banking is one of the most sensitive professions where every moment there is a risk of frauds. We had the practice of getting the biometric done and a female officer used to match the niqabi's original face with her id card. Many times I caught women presenting the wrong identities. So it is very easy to follow certain SOPs. We have to measure what is more imp for us...worldly modern looks or saving ourselves from torment of graves and hellfire. Also for the issue of covering face, scholars have conflicting opinions. The best arguments have been provided by dr israr ahmed where he describes aurat ka chehray ka parda in detail. It exactly relates to our natures too. I see more than 80% of the men falling for girls because of their pretty faces and beautiful bodies. Have you ever seen a girl with very beautiful hair but not a beautiful face and many men dying to marry her? I havent seen one. Today's men dont even pay attention to ladies' hair. They pay attention to our bodies and faces when it comes to physical aspects. This proves a woman needs to cover her face too. It is her identity. And islam is so strict in pardah that we are even asked to do pardah from stranger women in surah ahzaab as they too could bring fitnah for us. So our whole bodies need to be protected not only the hair.
True. I have faced rejections on many levels. I have lost so much but it was not going to be easy. The best women were always tried the hardest. Read Quran, pray a lot plz for yourself. U need it.

A message to all dear sisters - Coming from a non-religious background should not be an excuse because if you do hijab your family wont torture you or anything so dont fear alot. Just take the 1st step. Its ok if at 1st they dont appreciate you. But remember that every single sincere step that you take for the sake of Allah, Allah will make the rest of it easier for you. It all comes down to your own sincerity. None of pakistani parents wont mind someone at least covering their head with a simple dupatta. Try to be as modest as you possibly can. May Allah make it easier for us all Ameen.

Saddest thing is that some of my own family and work colleagues are non supportive. I have to face a mocking sarcastic smile most of the time. I know the jilbab would be one of the biggest test but I'm praying ALLAH SWT for strength to bear it all.

I'm a university student and literally this ramadan i'm thinking to wear hijab but in my university i saw a lot of girls in burqah but their habits are not good not only me but everyone can see what they do even in burqah Astaghfirullah and i'm not a hijabi i don't wear any burqah not only me there are a lot of girls and womens who don't wear burqah or hijab but they are so good their habits are good so i think you should not judge a book by its cover and can't give the title of "shareef" to only those who wear burqah or hijab.

Nonsupportive, family is the biggest hurdle and it really hurts When your own family is not supportive. At that time the greatest strength comes when you realise you are doing it for Allah alone your Lord every thing comes after him❤

What I have seen is that yes many females have started taking scarfs and it is very common now but niqab is still not encouraged by our society. I have not a single female in my family or acquaintence who does a niqab or a strict sharai parda...im the first one who has just started it...n our relatives whether male or female are not comfortable with me wearing that niqab. I feel like an alien among them but i dnt care as Im doing it for Allah. Today if one wants to get hired by a good multinational or any company there are very low to no chances of a niqabi getting hired. Even elite class schools wont let niqabi girls enter as teachers. I have been working in a bank n all we used to do was dress up very well and put on a lot of makeup and matching accessories n try to look the best. The environment for niqabis needs to improve in this regard...The bank wont prefer to hire a niqabi over a fashionable girl. Niqabis have very less motivation from society.
May Allah give you ease, Allah tests those He Loves. They will get used to it ins’ Allah. My family is also starting to accept it, Alhamdulilah. Just smile and let your heart relax confiding in Allah. The believers have Allah as their Protector, but the disbelievers have no protector. No matter if someone calls you a ninja, jinn/bhoot, saying that you look scary, people will think you are jahil, backward etc. Allah Loves those who strive enough to reward them for it. Trust Allah, He is verily the Wadud, The Loving One.
Don't want to offend you but wearing niqab leads to security issues. You can never determine a person's identity if she's wearing hijab. That's why multi national companies and other institutions don't encourage it. Also it's not even supposed to be worn during hajj so one can't be sure if it's part of Islamic teachings. I am only talking about face covering here.
@@sameenshahid7457 My friend! If there are security issues then we cant throw all niqabis out of the world, we need to find the solutions to accomodate them. Multinationals earn millions/ billions in dollars, the private schools are earning in billions. Cant they hire a female security guard to verify the identities and conduct physical checks? It is all about priorities. I have been in the corporate culture and have been working in a bank. I exactly know we are trying hard to promote a burger, liberal culture with modern girls to entertain our customers and make everything look american. My classfellow told me about his office in islamabad where a very modern girl went for an interview and she was only hired by his boss because he was happy k ab office me mza aey ga iski wja se there will be a cool sight and he even offered her 30k more salary just to not let her go. The security thing is an excuse. I have been in the bank where every other day a niqabi women used to come to us for receiving foreign remittances or opening an account. Banking is one of the most sensitive professions where every moment there is a risk of frauds. We had the practice of getting the biometric done and a female officer used to match the niqabi's original face with her id card. Many times I caught women presenting the wrong identities. So it is very easy to follow certain SOPs. We have to measure what is more imp for us...worldly modern looks or saving ourselves from torment of graves and hellfire.
Also for the issue of covering face, scholars have conflicting opinions. The best arguments have been provided by dr israr ahmed where he describes aurat ka chehray ka parda in detail. It exactly relates to our natures too. I see more than 80% of the men falling for girls because of their pretty faces and beautiful bodies. Have you ever seen a girl with very beautiful hair but not a beautiful face and many men dying to marry her? I havent seen one. Today's men dont even pay attention to ladies' hair. They pay attention to our bodies and faces when it comes to physical aspects. This proves a woman needs to cover her face too. It is her identity. And islam is so strict in pardah that we are even asked to do pardah from stranger women in surah ahzaab as they too could bring fitnah for us. So our whole bodies need to be protected not only the hair.
True. I have faced rejections on many levels. I have lost so much but it was not going to be easy. The best women were always tried the hardest. Read Quran, pray a lot plz for yourself. U need it.

A message to all dear sisters - Coming from a non-religious background should not be an excuse because if you do hijab your family wont torture you or anything so dont fear alot. Just take the 1st step. Its ok if at 1st they dont appreciate you. But remember that every single sincere step that you take for the sake of Allah, Allah will make the rest of it easier for you. It all comes down to your own sincerity. None of pakistani parents wont mind someone at least covering their head with a simple dupatta. Try to be as modest as you possibly can. May Allah make it easier for us all Ameen.
