This guy Jason, is one of my 🤭💖favourite actors. An absolute national treasure. He can do funny, quirky, eccentric, sinister and your average guy in the street parts. And no! I'm not his publicist. I just think he's a super actor with an interesting realife personality.
I just adore him. In comedy he is adorable. In drama he gets the details so right that he is always believable. Loved him in Des, Lost Honour, Nativity, the lot.
One of Jason Watkins lesser known roles is Captain Orchis from the 2018 series of "Watership Down". A voice role, which is amazing!! A huge amount of respect for this actor.
One of our best actors, i remember first seeing him in Life on Mars as Gene Hunts lawyer, rarely laugh out loud at the TV but i did with that character.
Confession I got Jason mixed up with Tobey Jones who enjoying popularity with his portrayal of Alan Jones in the dramatised miniseries based on the miscarriage of justice.

He's great in McDonald and Dodds. So funny and very bright
I watched the Christopher Jefferies program and I was disgusted how poor the policing was and the disgraceful behaviour of the British Press.
Yes. Christopher Jeffries was treated like utter garbage because he’s a bit eccentric.
Another brilliant interview James!
