The song can be interpreted in two ways, on set, it's Tzuyu telling the guy (other partner) that he still has a chance to 'Run Away' coz if he stays, he will fall deeper in love with her and there will be no escape / parallel to this, it can also pertain to Tzuyu and she is singing this to herself to run away before she falls deeply in love with the guy. (hence the scene where she is the one running/escaping) awesome song, awesome MV!

My take on it rather dark due to the lyrics and scenes from the MV. Think more of "Femme Fatale" From Google: The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break. This myth is similar to the Western concept of soulmate or a destined partner.
First of all yes the album came out almost immediately after this song, and it is great. Not going to spoil it so look forward to your reaction to it. As to the string, nothing in a Twice M/V is random or a mistake it all has meaning so I'm sure the string has meaning as does the fact that the young mans finger is bleeding and the string is used to hold the cloth, sting of fate maybe but doesn't explain his bloody finger or the fact she wipes the blood on his shirt. I look forward to the explanations. I think the Blue, aqua whatever color those dresses are, is her best look. I will say my only disappointment would have to be the choreo she's a much better dancer than that and I would have liked to see a little more of it but it's a very small complaint. OT9 forever (TIMELESS).
I can understand the choreography disappointment. Omg I did not look at it like this. There’s so much happening in this MV my brain has not fully processed. When you step back and look at it there’s so many little details and hints in it. Such a good MV and song. Tzuyu killed it!
