Summer Psalms - Study in Psalm 119 - The Word of God
Psalm 119 is the longest psalm in the book of psalms and often is left unread or not preached on due to its length. But this summer we will make a start into Psalm 119 covering sections of it each week as we discover the riches of it! Psalm 119 is actually an acrostic psalm. There are 22 sections representing the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. We know this because each section starts every line with the corresponding letter of the Hebrew alphabet. So, we will look at two sections of the psalm each week and as we do, find a wonderful richness of Psalm 119 whose overall theme is the Word of God.
