Meet the Surfboards That Make Craig Anderson "Craig Anderson"

- Craig Anderson looks good on literally any surfcraft. Stick a 5’9″ shred sled under his feat and he’ll do a knock-knee bottom turn to tweaked out air. Give the lad a lengthier single fin and he’ll soul arch through a tube like a cosmic 1970s surf spiritualist. Somehow nothing looks corny or contrived in either case, and who else can you say that about?
In the latest episode of “Quivers”, the series in which we get a look under the hood of our favorite surfers’ boardbags, videographer Dave Fox talks to Ando about his eclectic arsenal of wave-riding weaponry and digs through some of our favorite clips of him riding these craft through the years. Very educational and thank you for sharing
Very very cool music very cool and nice to hear something outside of the typical genre of music in most surf videos because surfing includes all music and emotional states and moods

Carbon fiber is the most eco friendly fiber reinforcing material. No different to charcoal but a heap stronger.

Last time a person saw me and freaked out cause i was coming their way, he pusseh swam to shore and he left a huge finfuck in my board. I survived, he is toast.
"Doesn't know dims of Any of his boards yet has been "working" on them with guy from Hayden shapes? Ok
Jungle Jeff pretty sure you need to work on a surfboard in order to be a pro surfer
Is a good point, I found through time that the most successful surfers have had a great relationship with their shapers. If you think about it, the trust generated with your shaper gives these guys the piece of mind to surf their best without a doubt in their boards. If you look at most of the world champions like Kelly, Gabs, John John or Mick and look at how long they've been with their shapers, you'll find proof of this.
Also is essential to know that all the boards these guys get are custom, meaning they are made to their skills, surfing style and body composition.
So I believe if you want to go further in your surfing, you definitely need to 1 - Work together with your shaper and 2- always choose custom surfboards over stock ones.
Hope it helps!
Cheers!
Yugen Surfboards stock boards are fine as long as you pick the right board and dimensions for your size/weight style and fitness. Talking to your shaper or someone who knows their stuff is a good idea but no need to stay away from stock boards
