I love how you both have completely different reactions - Stuart doesn't give any actual fucks, you just got that blank "meh I've had worse" look whereas Barry is clearly having mouth related trauma. Hysterical. 😂👍🏼
Badatstuff i read up until ''Chocolate and cheese works really well'' then immediately went to try it. Naturally i melted them together and it was horrible. I need to start reading the whole sentence before i try stuff :/
I remember this one weird instance where my family had quiches and a chocolate fountain for a party, and my sister dunked one of the quiches in the fountain out of boredom and ate it. She apparently liked that. She also used to put peanut butter and mayo together with either bread crumbs or maybe oatmeal. Yeah, my sister made lots of odd food combos, and so do my friends.
RetroSteveUK young cheese (the type you buy in slices) + nutella is surprisingly good. It's a bit like jam and cheese (which is a fantastic combo) but instead of the sweet jam you have the sweet nutella.
Johan Gustafsson cheese is vile. ill only eat cheese on pizza. my sister is worse. she doesnt eat cheese on pizza or melted cheese. but eats solid cheese. were polar opposites
Now when Ashens said 'on top of a clock tower' I briefly expected a massacre joke. But then I remembered his content is fun for all the family. Oh how we laugh.
When i was a kid, i loved strawberry jam on toast with bacon on top. My mum also had a wierd snack which was peanut butter on toast with thin slices of apple on top
What's nice is that the butterkists go all milky inside but keep their crunchy crispy shell. Another yummy thing I grew up with is Golden syrup on Yorkshire Puddings. Even Yorkshire folk sometimes haven't heard of that. They're lovely.
These weird food combinations just get weirder and weirder! One time I was eating celery with ranch and some fruit, a strawberry fell in the ranch and I was like "why not?" and ate it. Idk if I'd do it again but it wasn't bad lol!
Milk chocolate and plain salted potato crisps are fantastic together. Potato gruel with bits of buttered rye bread in it is delicious. Blood sausage and lingonberry jam is downright heavenly.
Apart from they look absolutely nothing alike? Except perhaps Pegg once had a ginger goatie, about 20 years ago. And other resemblance is completely missing. I sometimes wonder if the people who say this have ever seen Simon Pegg, or do they actually think Ashens of old IS Simon Pegg? Cos when I look at them, there's no resemblance at all. Not they eyes, nose, head shape, height, body shape, teeth, jawline. But they did once have a ginger goatee beard at the same time, many years ago. So does Connor Mcgregor, he actually looks more like Ashens, and he doesn't look like Ashens at all, which says everything.
Interesting thing about Cool Ranch Doritos: They explode in a fire. Only the Cool Ranch ones. The Nacho Cheese ones do absolutely nothing, except burn. Don't ask me how I know this, the story up to the exploding Doritos is really quite boring. Let's just say I know this is true and leave it at that.
Eggs & bacon sandwiched between raspberry jam toast - delicious! Chocolate milk or hot cocoa powder stirred in soft-serve with frosted flakes is bloody amazing. I often make experiments with tuna salad; I once added a bit of maple syrup and it was surprisingly great.
If you're near a Taco Bell, the Cinnamon Twists are interesting, in that they're seriously good with nacho cheese. Or dip them in sour cream, they'll taste almost like cheesecake.
Ashens: Eats food like any other normal person. Barry: Pretends he is a master cook and analyzes the contents of the meal with hand motions and loud lip slaping.

Reminds me vaguely of the Sinner's Sandwich if you ask me. Except that was turkey, strawberry jam, and cereal. (presumably cornflakes judging by its appearance in-game) As for more unorthodox food combos, one thing I tried was fish fingers and bacon in a sandwich. I was looking to up my protein before a workout (my local only does lunch until 3, and I don't wake up early enough to finish my gym sessions before the kitchen closes), so on impulse I decided to order fish fingers and bacon on white bread. It was alright, not excellent but not terrible. Though it DID give me a boost for the gym session that followed.

Barry and Ashens together always means its going to be a fun video
I always avoid Ashens videos with a "guest." They're always annoying and add absolutely nothing to the video (Chef Excellence excluded.)

Sometimes I think, "wow, Barry is being overdramatic with his reaction", but then recall that Ashens has eaten 100+ year old olives

The spaghetti scene was from Lady and The Tramp
I remember this one weird instance where my family had quiches and a chocolate fountain for a party, and my sister dunked one of the quiches in the fountain out of boredom and ate it. She apparently liked that.
