As always blown away by the quality of your videos, i have no idea how you find such amazing footage so consistently. Genge holding Ntamack was also very sweet if you do a round 2.
As a Toulouse supporter, I remember screaming when I saw Kolbe slow down and wait for the bounce. He was on time to catch it in the air, and there was no way any la Rochelle player would've laid hand on him as he done that. La Rochelle are so hard to break that you have to seize the opportunities when you got them. So glad it finally ended well. Brilliant tackle by Doumayrou nevertheless
Beauden barett was me fav but Thanks a lot Mr Forde for brightening up a usual shit boring Monday evenin excellent compilation again and props for all the effort involved. Nice one fella
Always smile at that Paterson one, then get nervous for Scotland’s missed opportunities cropping up later. A few seasons back when Glasgow played La Rochelle away we were leading narrowly in the final minutes when LR finally got Rattez in space (and he has wheels), but Ali Price somehow found the speed to shackle him before he got to the corner, proper match winning tackle. Although we didn’t back up the away win a week later when the arrived at Scotstoun!
Thank you for an entertaining compilation you got some great moments. Pity you missed the incredible mandhandling of Ardie Savea by Eben Estebet - hauling him back from over the line Springboks vs All Blacks 2022. A real clash of titans that one.
all of these brilliant tackles... some are so funny where the guy with the ball is clearly knackered and looks like he's running through treacle. marcus smith for example
The oldest video is the one at the very end, which isn't so old at all. Can you not start harvesting things from all eras, and likewise start spreading the focus around a little bit more, whereby you show teams and matches that aren't just international or European professional mainstream? Players from Kenya, Uruguay, Spain, Canada, Chile, Georgia, and Namibia have made last ditch tackles too.
Apologies! I'm only human, it's just me that makes these videos and given I'm 23 and European I'm very likely to remember significant examples from European rugby in the last 15 years. I do regularly try and include clips from a variety of nations, leagues, continents ranging from pro, amateur and to age grade rugby. If there's any particular examples that I've missed please do let me know and I'll include it in a part two.
@@joefair1137 Difficult in what way exactly? Time consuming, you mean? I don't doubt that it is, but insofar as you're giving people something they've never had before (seen before), then the payoff would be worth the extra work, no?
@@rh5466 indeed, and in other videos I’ve included a variety. If you think there’s a particular example I’ve missed please do let me know and I’ll add it to a part two :)
Mack Hansen looks so confused like he doesn't know why he can't get to the line lol

7:30 - I was at that game, pretty sure it was called as a penalty try because the dragons player was already on the ground when he made the tap tackle
That mighty tackle from Dupont !
It was like "You shall not pass" with a Greco-Roman wrestle move. Anyway, one for the ages.

7:07 I still remember watching that game and the crowd was electric when Tait made that tackle

Best rugby channel on youtube!! Thanks AGAIN Andrew Forde!!
The dupont tackle is still just ridiculous
The ground Barrett covered to make that tackle!
The hit on Pocock (2:41) put her out of the game, too.
Sharks v Stomers URC Curwin Bosch on Mannie Libbok was also a good one. 🔥 Hopefully in pt 2
Damian Willemse on Caleb Clarke was also an insane cover tackle
Yea that reminded me of a lion tackling a buck….. juuuuust got the nails in and brings it down
A fabulous collection of outstanding efforts by both defenders & attacking teams & individuals. Thank you! RH Auckland, NZ

Superb content mate - thank you!
Barrett chasing Willie down still annoys me to date. Haha I can't believe he was so fast.
Always love see Sam's W on Tuilagi!
sam warburtons tackle on manu is imo one of the best tackles ever, head on the right side too!
The three most exciting moments in rugby ranked.
1) Any kick of the ball by the front row.
2) Last ditch tackle.
3) Everything else.

Will add it to a part two!
7:57 diving on a player that's on the ground? Penalty try?
Great compilation - though missing Heaslip's ultimately championship saving tackle on Hogg in 2015
27 great tackles and only two techmically poor ones. That took a lot of searching
Nice to see "that tackle" by Gregan.
The hit in the Eng v Aus women's game is insane!
Brilliant as ever Andrew
😱
Part 2 needs Zammits tackle on Dan Thomas (Gloucester Vs Bristol, 2022).
all of these brilliant tackles... some are so funny where the guy with the ball is clearly knackered and looks like he's running through treacle. marcus smith for example
damian willemse vs all blacks 2022
A theme here- Halfpenny and Jaz Joyce👏
How was Smith caught
Great as always
Where is Joe Worsley’s tap tackle on Vincent Clerc at RWC 2007 ?
NZ rugby commentators are almost orgasmic level of excitement
Jean de Villiers on Ugo Monye 1st test v lions in Durban 2009
How quick was Barret though geez.
@6.28, look at his legs going. That is some effort
7:35 tackle on the floor surely
The Japanese tackle on Seymore in 2015 WC is almost identical to a Japanese tackle on Scot Hastings in 1995 WC
Danie Rosouw in 2007 World Cup final:

Deon kayser on Robbie Fleck:

Dan Sheehan on jaminet should be here
You did miss the 2007 WC final tackle though ;)
That try saving tackle by O'Connor vs Toulon was incredible ruclips.net/video/O-9yk1YRCQc/видео.html
The womens tackle - ENG v OZ - wow!!!!!! What blistering speed and cover - just …..wow
All blacks number ten should not be part of this list

I’m sure if you provided some clips he’d be able to but it’s very difficult scouring less covered games I’m sure.
