This music makes me feel happy. They remind me of so many other great bands. The reverb and how it is mixed makes me think of The Stone Roses or My Bloody Valentine. Their melodies can be like happier Smashing Pumpkins or Cure. The Synths remind me of The Rentals and the video seems like it could have come from and early Bell and Sebastien project. Its everything you could want.
I honestly haven't hated a song by these guys, it's kind of cool they haven't blown up huge, everyone who I tell about The Pains love them and it's great.
Was watching a little documentary video about Slowdive here on YT and saw PoBPAH-Contender was mentioned in it and it took me back instantly and then came across this song which threw me into even more of flashbacks and as I’m scrolling through the comments I see I commented on this very video almost 14 years ago now….crazy how things come full circle sometimes haha

They were great at korjaamo,Helsinki. The singer stood even happily after the gig to sign albums..As a shy Finn I chose to run away. Now I regret it, but itwas a really nice gig! I like when pop stars choose to be real humans instead of clumsy divas.
This song is like a time capsule to summer of '10 when life was easier: there was no pandemic and there were no zoomers (they were harmless little kids, to be more precise) to torment and ridicule millennial hipsters for their skinny jeans and american apparels
