when I was a boy growing up in Australia, playing rugby, the Springboks were still unable to play internationals, but people used to talk about them with so much respect and fear. To me the name Springboks represented something very powerful and mysterious. It still does today. To me the Springboks and England are my brothers, my two favourite teams and I look forward to today's match as much as anyone.
Still want to see a Springbok vs All Blacks world cup final one day. Think the world would like to see that, at least on more time. World cup in Japan was the best thing that could happen to the game and they where fantastic hosts, the best. The world cup don't need to be hosted by any of the 5 nations or combinations again. It does nothing for the game. We need a world cup in North/South America, Russia, Eastern Europe or Africa for the sake of the game.
why the hell does South African keep losing amazing couches after world cups? look at Aus and NZ of they have a good couch at the helm they keep him on for years!!!! now we have to say good bye to Russie after only 25 tests?
Guess Rassie isn't totally lost. He is more stepping up. Going to the director role with new head coach under him. Just hope they pick well with the coach. But sure he'll sti have a say in selection and player management.
