Without Troy, Swamp People just wouldn't be Swamp People. He makes the show with is wonderful personality, warmth, love of family and tradition. More Troy!!!!!
i'm an acadian from Canada and my folks have the same demeanor as Troy. In fact, my cousins are Landry. Same sense of humor. Little bit like Newfoundland also.
I don't need no sub titles when Troy talks. He sounds just like all my older Acadian relatives. They come from northern Maine. Acadians and Cajuns will give the shirt off their back if you treat them with respect. It's in our culture. We work hard and are very friendly. C'est si bon.
lol im in alberta too. why not give the mic macs back their land while were at it haha. i'm looking at some land on the island. hopefully get it within the next year or two and build a cabin in the woods for myself. where in alberta are you?
no shit eh? i'm actually looking at a place across from mayfair on 67 ave for august. i live downtown close to ship and anchor right now. been here almost 7 years now. i definitely want to rest down home too. i used to live close to wycocomagh. do you know any of the bernards or googoo's?
Uncle Troy ! Please buy the whole team of swamp in folks a case of rope brakes. The kind of rope brake used in mountain rescue missions. Find the on line. Ebay
I wouldn't need subtitles and I'm french, from Québec. One thing I hate is in the french dubbed version we get they overdub his voice when he speak french. That's utterly stupid and it's because it's translated in France. There maybe I wouldn't mind subtitles but probably wouldn't need it.
@threehvacguys Laissez les bons temps rouler (Let the good times roll). J'aime la Louisiane (I love Louisiana). A big friendly high five at you from south Louisiana Cajun country my friend!
notice my name lol as in lower sackville nova scotia lmao . the crown had nothing to do with it bud . they very simple they had the best farm land and were differant and smaller then us so u do the math . eather way imma thinken we give them the land back to resettle the areas they built , hell most of us are in alberta now neways me included . i know the cost would be great but i own a full section in claire . hasent been tilled in 200 yr
it wasnt nova scotia's fault. we are under british rule and it was the crowns choice to make. a lot of acadians still live in nova scotia today. in cape breton especially
mic macs are doing fine and dandy , i am one lol . easter vs westren native no comparison eh lmao . im in calgary next to chinook mall lol . i gotta nother 25 yrs to go before i can go back home , still got a house and all but cant live there if i cant work there and im no dole jockey . guessen i wont make it back till its time to pass on but so be it n.s is where i want my bones to rest when i die my heart has never left for a minite .
