How fabulous did those cauliflowers look? I love cauliflower in a curry because it soaks up the gravy and sauce in between the cracks. One thing I have learned from these videos is the inclusion of mint in a curry, it makes all the difference.

It reminds me of RUclips videos of "Grandpa's Kitchen ". From India. It's the same concept. As Grandpa says "Loving, caring, sharing " Grandpa sadly passed away, but his grandsons carry on his legacy and feed all the children.
What is beautiful about people is no matter who you are or where you're from, the act of cooking, sharing food and eating together is a universal love language. Beautiful.
So wonderful to see you all cooking for your village. After the Maui fire, the locals were cooking for their village as they waited for help to arrive 3 days later. No one could of been prepared for this tragedy and the locals pulled together! "MAUI STRONG!" Sending Aloha from Maui!
This gives me the idea that you should try some American cauliflower dishes, as we eat also. Buffalo cauliflower, and cauliflower pizza are the first that come to mind, but there are many more.

The key is a really sharp knife. Most people believe that a sharp knife is dangerous, but it's actually the opposite. A dull knife is behind just about every kitchen/cutting accident that happens. The second part is just practice. Once you've done it enough times, anyone can slice and dice with the best!

They've been putting a link in most of their videos since they launched their downloadable cookbook about a month ago. (Especially on the main channel) It's a beautifully done e-book with great pictures and easy to follow instructions. Lots of recipes and not a bad price either. I haven't made anything yet, but I know my first endeavor will be the Chicken Biryani. Yum! 😊
I think the pot that size is what any villager needs to make a gigantic pot roast. That size will work wonders. A pot like that will be able to serve many. Same with other pot dishes that can serve a large community.
How different cultures adapt to what's available. When we ate cauliflowers we had cheddar cheese sauce. My digestive system rejects all but maybe a pinch of onions, chilies, garlic.
I would like to see how they all sharpen their knives. Does each do by themselves? Do they use a special stone? I sharpen my knives, axes, wood chisels, and other woodworking tools with a couple different methods. So I would like to see what they do.

The silence in the introduction while presenting the gorgeous culinary display, easing into the sound of running water.....i am madly in love with all of you. I wish i lived in your village. Life is very tough when you are a have-not in the "land of opportunity". We have a horrible history and heritage in this country. It is a master and slave society. If your ancestors were African slaves or European indentured servants then you will still be treated that way on a subliminal level. Our ghettos are full of crime, drugs and filth. I remember the 1970s and 1980s when my community would have vegetarian potlucks for the 50 hippies who were part of that social circle and this video reminded me of that time. My community was the Penn State campus and the hippies were the rich college students who had parents that paid their way through life. And then the dark underbelly of that town was exposed during the Penn State Scandal.....as a prelude to the worst president in history, the one the whole world protested on his inauguration day. I really wish that i lived in your village.....

It is very kind to do this for the villagers. I know that Pakistanis are suffering now from many causes, and inflation is terrible. I know there are men who are chefs in restaurants etc where I live but I don't see that many men cooking an entire meal at their home. But even men who don't cook much in the U.S. will do all the BBQing if they get the chance. lol Maybe while supplied with a good beer meanwhile 😂 But RUclips has helped many men get curious about trying cooking I think and even baking. If you wack or press a garlic bulb under a wide knife held flat it will be SO much quicker to peel. Easy peasy.
