Tbh though. Some people seem to be taking in the scenery like they’re playing Skyrim instead of a competitive multiplayer game. I also honestly believe a lot of the anger can be curbed if developers learned how to match teams properly so that every FPS game isn’t a steamroll/steamrolled match. It’s blatant a lot of times that one team is clearly superior to the other. People don’t like that; why would they? They expect their team to be on par with the other and that wins should not be by landslides. Fix that issue and I can guarantee aggression will go down significantly.

Just got done with a control/mystery heroes QUICKPLAY match and some guy on the other team "Sloth" was talking about how I was throwing, in which I did do horrible the first round and then my entire team and the other started trash talking each other, except for me, who was being "flamed" and we lost the round. Next round comes (1-0) and even though I'm doing much worse than the others on my team, this guy and his friend "Schnsaty" decide to target me. I comeback and do increasingly better throughout the match and kill his friend 1 time and we win the round. Apparently that was enough to make him mad to where, like the supervillain he is, he says "you won't get so lucky next time gamertag " and I admit, I did exhale a bit of air from my nose. I beat their ass once again the next round and we win the match. And once again, like the villain he is, he says "this isn't over gamertag " and I laughed my fucking ass off. He and his friend invited me to a voice chat, but too bad I don't take this game that serious and it was quickplay so I just messaged GG.
This is so easy to why people are pissed the matchmaking system is broke. And in my opinion the only way to unbreak it is get rid of all the novelty game modes.
To be fair dudes be forcing that Zenyatta and do bare minimum healing and cost folks games I be getting upset too, the team can’t function without people performing on their roles

I met this Ramattra today in open que, we were 3 tanks and two supports, he wanted me to switch to dps, I said no, he kept telling me I was bad though out the whole game even though my stats were better then his, I was to VC and he started going on about how much better he is just because he has 100 more damage then me, he was trying to degrade me and I was trying to stay humble saying how much he’s overreacting and shit, he got his friend on his side as they kept threatening to report me for… I guess not being dps even though I’m doing better then him… yeah… people taking shit way to seriously, it’s not even comp it’s OPEN QUE XD

Here's the thing, he was right about the healing. You were front lining as Zen, worried about killing than saving your team. Reason they need to remove damage from support characters. That's not your job in this game. If you can't understand the roles of a game and only want to do damage, only queue as damage, problem solved.
