For the og's out there, tracks aren't new. They used to be in the game before they were removed shortly before the new sniffing mechanics. The old sniffing mechanics simply told you what was nearby and didn't have a line directing you towards it. However, when sniffing, tracks would either glow green or red depending on the diet of the creature that made them.
I’m so excited for the recode! Hopefully this will promote packs for smaller creatures, herds for the herbivores, and etc! The current cos is going to be a baby compared to this new one

I think the most power might be held by the creatures who are both land and aquatic + can fly (im not sure if there are any like this i havent played in a while) but if a flood happens, the water can be their friend, if they need to be on land, theyve got it, if they need eyes in the skies, up they go!
I just really hope the devs dont go with the previous track record. This looks amazing, but I am just concerned with how it will be handled down the line. It looks like a return to format and like the beta from Agartha. I cant wait!
i really like the recode! my most favorite thing about it is the aquatics getting slightly more to do, i love playing as aquatics and semi-aquatics because the ocean currently looks beautiful. in the recode it looks stunning too! i also love how when it floods, it's like a moment of recess for the aquatics as they can go everywhere because of the flood. im so excited for the recode and the first thing ill most likely do is get out my aquatics :3
I'm glad the game is finally changing this way, I quit playing a few months ago cuz the devs kept pushing out creatures instead of listening to the players (The players were suggesting that they put a hold on pumping out new creatures and focus on fixing bugs and making the game more focused on survival rather than a gacha.) I'll definitely check the game out again when the update comes out since I'm a sucker for survival games.

I almost never died and most of my deaths were to drowning, getting beached, natural disasters, starving, and dehydration.
Why the recode is a masterpiece is cuz the game will actually feel like a real survival game, and not a gambling care bearing game! This looks so much more fun than the current game. Thanks to the devs for putting in all the effort to make us smile. And thank you arby for the update
True-ture, game is basically trading simulator atm cuz all species are roughly same, survival is just boring and kosing is kinda hard when there're uber-stakcs at oasis with Ardors and stuff.
Gosh I absolutely love the recode, it looks SO fun in comparison to what we have right now. I like that they're actually making the game more challenging and encourage people to travel more without being too harsh. Can't wait for the early access!!

Originally stopped playing since gameplay was meh, felt more like an RP game with everyone staying in oasis, and it made for a very boring experience. Very hyped for the recode. Video did an amazing job promoting it as well. Still a little concerned with mush gain since my friends and I don't have millions like everyone else to spend on anything and everything, so hopefully it gets a nice change.

this recode really reminds me of path of titans, if anyone's familiar with it. mainly due to the quests now being consisted in different biomes and water quality going down.
Kosing was supposed to be for getting people out the oasis so you can definitely see kosing not be a thing unless the players somehow find a place to chill somehow

This feels like a very good mixture of the current top 3 dinosaur survival game's (Path of Titans, Beasts of Bermuda, and The Isle) mechanics. I predict it'll lead to a much larger playerbase, and even maybe host some refugees from The Isle and other visitors from the previous two games as well.
Its really amazing how they are updating the game so it's much more fun and enjoyable to play but sometimes it gets really irritating when you play as a small/er creature and you're just trying to exist but whenever you get to the water / food sources (mainly the desert) there are ALWAYS some players camping with their huge monsters, killing you for literally no reason in one bite i know theres nothing the developers can do about it, but i just wanted to mention it, cuz man... also the changing weather, seasons and natural disasters are already in the game
DUDE THIS IS LOOKING SICK, I joined when it had uncomfortability, the stupid LSS crash, everything, I’m so happy the aquatic creatures finally have more worth than they do now
Stopped playing a couple months ago just because of how oversaturated the higher tier creatures would be and general “non-survival” player base, been patiently waiting for this and I hope it can redeem the game a bit for me
I think Recode is gonna make a big difference to sonarian players, by which I mean it will make it more popular and realistic, the game is already good enough but recode is an amazing idea giving c.o.s more realism and shows the time and effort the creatures have put in it, it's simply amazing.
Dude ive been wanting movement sound effects for so long, its a small thing, but it makes things much better (Plus basically being sneaked attacked is like playing black ops on mute)

OOOOHHHH yeah im gonna have fun with some cool maneuver and speed flights but for aquatic creatures? uummm yeah im gonna be jumping out of water CONSTANTLY and then there is the normal land creatures, well of course, im gonna be hunting everything that is in my field of vision and be the most menacing in the server.

another cool thing about the recode is that in the origonal if you traded/sold your badge creatures, you actually get them back in the recode like how i got my aloneus species back
ok the new flying system kinda reminds me of avatar in the sense of when they dodge bullet fire by flying around pulling tight turns almost flying sideways and doing quick spins, definetly going to love it
I stopped playing the game because of how difficult to get the creatures was, but dude, this is literally impressive its the first game i see in years that the developers actually put effort on, atleast inside roblox, i really want to play this new update
The thing about this update is how well they updated it. They put a lot of effort, work, and also listened to the community. Another game with big updates was Royal High, that was disappointing, but this big update for this game is top notch and amazing!
ever since cos got out of beta things began to go downhill, i remember that, and as a collector (due to survival not being difficult) i got overstressed overtime and couldnt find the time to keep getting creatures, so i basically stopped playing. Hopefully when this recode releases, thing's will be better and actually be worth playing survival-wise (and also for the community to be better in a way too)

Stopped playing a couple months ago just because of how oversaturated the higher tier creatures would be and general “non-survival” player base, been patiently waiting for this and I hope it can redeem the game a bit for me
The flowering weather event boosts egg growth in nests by 50% I believe with the new recode update.
I think Recode is gonna make a big difference to sonarian players, by which I mean it will make it more popular and realistic, the game is already good enough but recode is an amazing idea giving c.o.s more realism and shows the time and effort the creatures have put in it, it's simply amazing.
Dude ive been wanting movement sound effects for so long, its a small thing, but it makes things much better (Plus basically being sneaked attacked is like playing black ops on mute)
dude there was a reason why i stopped playing COS because i wanted the new map to come out but it's been months and FINALLY IT'S ALMOST HERE!! i am so excited for this new updates and the flying?!? OOOOHHHH yeah im gonna have fun with some cool maneuver and speed flights but for aquatic creatures? uummm yeah im gonna be jumping out of water CONSTANTLY and then there is the normal land creatures, well of course, im gonna be hunting everything that is in my field of vision and be the most menacing in the server.
My jaw right now is dropped, I was so shock about how cool and better it looks like, like omg its look so good and better again

I am so excited for the recode, it looks awesome and finally its actually like a survival game. Althought thats why some people are not excited or even dont like the recode mainly cause it gets harder to survive, I dont know why people think that but i'm excited. Great video
another cool thing about the recode is that in the origonal if you traded/sold your badge creatures, you actually get them back in the recode like how i got my aloneus species back

ok the new flying system kinda reminds me of avatar in the sense of when they dodge bullet fire by flying around pulling tight turns almost flying sideways and doing quick spins, definetly going to love it

I stopped playing the game because of how difficult to get the creatures was, but dude, this is literally impressive its the first game i see in years that the developers actually put effort on, atleast inside roblox, i really want to play this new update

The thing about this update is how well they updated it. They put a lot of effort, work, and also listened to the community. Another game with big updates was Royal High, that was disappointing, but this big update for this game is top notch and amazing!
it has been years since ive been truly excited for a game to come out, i really hope that people like this like me too
ever since cos got out of beta things began to go downhill, i remember that, and as a collector (due to survival not being difficult) i got overstressed overtime and couldnt find the time to keep getting creatures, so i basically stopped playing. Hopefully when this recode releases, thing's will be better and actually be worth playing survival-wise (and also for the community to be better in a way too)
