This is my hometown, Alaçatı Town in Izmir. We Turks come here every weekend. We go to the villages of Alaçatı, Sığacık or Şirince. Turkey is a more democratic, more hospitable country than multicultural Europe.
Looks like many other towns in Europe. Not really Turkish. Touristy. Why go to a country and visit a place that does not make you feel the vibes of the country itself. It's prettily done up though...
This is a village which is very popular by Turkish people. The most tourists you can see here are Turks. This is way more Turkish here as you think. Turkiye has many faces. If you want to see something more conservative, more Islamic than you have to go to other citys in Türkiye.
