I think out of three bigger siblings, Sun is the one who treats Lunar the least like a kid. He had wanted Lunar to know that Eclipse was back. And Moon is right, Lunar and Sun are very similar to each other.
i think it's because he himself, in some sort, was treated like a kid so many times. Not trusted with the truth and all that. So he relates the most to lunar at the end. both very traumatized too.
I kinda seen it when he was first brought up ( Lunar ), He was silly joyful and a bit disobedience- But he acted like sun. Sun ( In the past when he wasn't so anxious ) Said once " Is this is how it is to deal with me everyday? " Even though Sun and Lunar changed so much, They still act similar in ways or so.
Accidently related my comment while writing it and it was long so tldr, sun and moon are yin and yang eclipse and solar are the dots of color with sun as white moon as black and eclipse being the black within white and lunar the white within black eclipse is a part of moon in sun thus literally black within white lunar represented everything old moon had in common with sun but has evolved to be his own character with desires beliefs and as is family tradition a lot of trauma
Lunar defaults to being 'small' but doesn't want to be treated as a child is so relatable to me- When it comes to age regression/little space, you arent a child. But its a safer feeling this way. Your fully able to understand everything, but your mind just needs a break to be small and safe. Amazing work by everyone on the team
New Moon is still trying to communicate BETTER. But loads better than OG Moon. I think if OG Moon was in this situation he'd be yelling and therefore making it WORSE.
I love how deep Lunar's psychology is, what he has is Stockholm Syndrome. It's not as evident as it is commonly shown in tv shows, but it's surely there. It's probably caused by how Eclipse used to treat him during the first October takeover. Eclipse used to not always act harshly and aggressively towards Lunar, sometimes being somewhat good to him, playing games with him and other times hitting him and calling him "useless" and "a mistake". All of that made Lunar feel lost and confused, making him not fully perceive Eclipse as an abuser because of how he acted in certain moments. Lunar still understands perfectly how Eclipse is not a good person, but a part of him still recognizes that little bit of good he saw in Eclipse and since he never tried healing the trauma this "good" part of Eclipse remained impressed in his mind.
Okay, that was a lot. I think it was pretty brave for Lunar to admit that he still wants to go back to Eclipse sometimes (even if he was built like that and it isn’t really an active choice). That’s the thing about relationships, whether it be romantic or platonic or familial, it isn’t always easy to just cut someone out of your life permanently. Even if you have a strong support system, even if you end up hating them, even if they hurt you, *YOU* are the one that always ends up wondering if you made the wrong choice in leaving or cutting them off. That doesn’t mean you did make the wrong choice, it just means you care and that you loved someone that never really deserved it. As for acting like a ‘grown up’; I don’t know if anyone really knows what that means. I know people in their sixties that act like toddlers, and when I worked at an amusement park the parents were worse than the kids. Sometimes, I don’t think I’m any different than when I was a kid, because I feel like I still think and react the same way to things. Some people say that you’re an adult when you take on ‘responsibility’ but there are kids with more responsibility than adults. Here’s how I look at it, but keep in mind I’m a nobody on the internet; what makes you a ‘grown up’ is how you react to the circumstances around you. It’s easy to go to your default emotions, like what kids do. That’s what makes us comfortable. In order to deal with reality and get things done though, sometimes you have to put emotions aside and think about things rationally and understand that some situations are not about you. I know that isn’t the nicest way to put it, but that’s what it comes down to. Which is what Moon was doing with the Eclipse situation. He probably should have told you Eclipse was back before he and Solar made Jack, but y’know… Anyway this comment got way too long so I’m just gonna stop

When it comes to this particular subject, I just go by my own life experiences. I’m only one individual among billions, but when it comes to ‘growing up’ or humanity as a whole, the point is to strive to be better. That’s just evolution. Growing up is just a form of that. I still have fears, and problems, and doubts. I have those all the time, and I have a lot of them. I wanna be better though, because I wanna do better for the people around me, and the world as a whole. That’s the same idea as planting trees or cleaning up the ocean. I plant a tree, because even if I won’t be able to enjoy the shade it will cast when it’s fully grown, or the fruit it bears, the generations after me will be able to enjoy the gifts the tree gives. And that’s what adulthood is; understanding that sometimes things aren’t about you, but about putting others’ needs before your own. About taking accountability for your actions, even if they make you uncomfortable. It’s about putting others first sometimes, and even if it’s hard to do, it has to be done. It’s about being brave and calm, even when you’re scared and even when you want to run. I don’t really think it’s about not enjoying the things you love, or not ‘playing pretend’ or forgetting the things you liked as kids. It’s understanding when to pretend, and when to face reality (trust me, there are PLENTY of people who play pretend, or have imaginary friends. Not gonna touch on THAT though, I’d be burned at the stake). Having things that help you cope can get you through a lot of really hard things can HELP you be an adult. *THESE SHOWS* help me through my life. The characters of Sun and Moon *REALLY* helped me through a hard time that I honestly didn’t think I could get through by myself. -This isn’t about me though- Basically what I’m trying to get at is, liking ‘childish’ things doesn’t make someone not an adult. These ideas are social constructs forced onto people by, well, society. Even the idea of being an adult is just an idea. Maturity is the idea that someone’s body has reached the stage to reproduce sexually according to biologists, and someone can hit ‘maturity’ as young as 12, does THAT mean they’re an ADULT? No. Everything is subjective, and the reason everything is subjective is because we’re humans, and everyday we try as hard as we can to understand the world, to understand our place in it, just to understand. 1. I love seeing how Moon's having second thoughts over how he initially wanted to kill Eclipse on sight! I absolutely love how he's feeling guilty at the thought of killing someone who is in such a vulnerable mental state as well. It's nice to see Moon slowly realize these things as he works with Eclipse. If only he'd tell Eclipse these things! 2. I think part of the reason Lunar wants Eclipse dead is because he wouldn't have to struggle with this internal conflict. He wouldn't feel the need to have part of himself forgive him if he were to die, and we all know how Lunar does his best to avoid internal turmoil.

I think New Moon needed to hear Lunar talk about that he was designed to be Moon's opposite. New Moon and Lunar don't have the same relationship as Lunar had with OG Moon. OG Moon had befriended him before Lunar was forced to be a problem during the first takeover. So New Moon being reminded of what Lunar only was designed to be I think helps nail that point into New Moon more than when New Moon had to watch the show in the past to catch up to everything. It's a lot different to experience things than WATCHING characters going through the experience.
I know this isn't the same Moon, but this episode just shows how much character development Moon has gone through as well as trying to be a better person and brother towards his family. 22:51 Maybe a brother to brother talk between Sun and Lunar might help Lunar. 23:35 Yeah, that should be a family decision to determine wether they should kill Eclipse or let him go off on his own, though the last time they did that was with Bloodmoon and when they let them go, Bloodmoon still wanted to kill them all even though they said they would leave them alone after the whole Ruin situation was taken care of and Eclipse could do the same thing if they let him go too.
The one problem with letting Eclipse go is that we don't know what his hardwired primary directive is. It could be forcing him to screw with the celestial family to an extent for all we know, or possibly even kill them. And he can't remove it without dying.

Eclipse is a monster. He’s my favourite character but what he did to Lunar and the effect he had on him… it’s a sobering reminder. But I did suspect Moon would not be fully on board with killing Eclipse. He’s actually pretty merciful when he is not in impulsive rage mode. I’m surprised that part of Lunar wants to forgive Eclipse and “crawl back” but I really shouldn’t be, that’s pretty common in victims of abuse. Truma bonding is one of the many, many weird things our brain does in long term stress situations. But oof, I can see why Lunar walked out after Moon didn’t confirm he’d kill Eclipse. I suspect it would feel like to Lunar that Moon chose Eclipse over him. Ouch. But after seeing in Eclipse what all-consuming hate does to a person… well I just hope Lunar doesn’t let his own hate eat him alive.
Yes, just YES. I don't want Lunar to forgive Eclipse, i want Eclipse to apologize to Lunar. It probably will never happen but im sure it would do both of them some good, in some way or another. Note for Lunar: now this is from personal experience. I've learned over time that it's okay to not forget what happened, but think about it if you can't forgive then that gives the person who hurt you control. If you can forgive him (again it's okay not to forget) you gain that control back, and you could move on in a even better way.
Technically this Eclipse isn't the one that did all those bad things to Lunar, this Eclipse only has some of the memories of the previous Eclipse. So this Eclipse hasn't technically done anything to Lunar. So even though this Eclipse has some of the memories of the previous Eclipse, doesn't he deserve a chance?
I mean.. 2 points: 1. We saw in the Eclipse and Castor video that Eclipse kept in mind that he could still betray them with the magic circle. Just saying. 2. Moon said Eclipse can't do anything to Lunar or anyone else. But he could still talk smack and insult Lunar or anyone else for that matter. One accidental encounter between Lunar and Eclipse, and Eclipse could be back with his manipulative tactics on Lunar.
When you put it that way, you can maybe see a parallel between Moon and Eclipse: Both have done things to their own brother that has left its marks (severity and overall impact varying, obviously), then dies before coming back somewhat new. With that in mind, yes, Eclipse could have a chance. However, it's very unlikely, or to the very least, we are about to go through a lot of heavy lore of attempting to earn that chance, both from Lunar, the rest of the cast, and us the audience. And that's only a chance.
That is if he wants a chance. He hasnt really shown he wants redemption. He still wants to kill Moon. He just doesn't "hate Lunar," as he said to Gemini.

This episode was a WILD ride. 1. Lunar confirms that he's still working through wanting to "crawl back" to his abuser. I think a lot of us thought he was past that and shows how serious this all is. 2. Moon feels sorry for Eclipse and has second thoughts about killing him? It reminds me of Lunar's original argument with Sun about the same thing. "You're acting like the same person you're trying to get rid of." 3. Despite everything, Moon having doubts about killing Eclipse is... good. It makes him less like the old Moon. I think we've all been worried about that. 4. I hate to say it, but Lunar needs to talk to Eclipse. Lunar needs to be the one to approach him, with someone standing off to the side, not stepping in until Lunar asks. Probably Earth or Gemini. He needs to find some closure. 5. And this is more of a joke... can we permanently turn Eclipse into a little red dorito instead of killing him? Turn him into a harmless little Pizzaplex cryptid that shows up to cause chaos like some discount Mr. Pepper? C'mon. You know you want to. Either it happens, or someone is going to make it into an AU. (Probably me)
The last one (number 5) made me think, if Eclipse gets a redemption arc, then I could see him being the one to just come back every once in awhile to pull horrendous little pranks on the family XD

I can relate to the don't treat me like a kid and acting like a kid thing. It's my default as well for dealing with my own trauma and its irritating and infuriating that people don't understand that.

And one of the signs behind the “Sun’s happiness sign” says “Eclipse redemption”. So that is most likely foreshadowing that he’s going to get a redemption arc. Plus with him acting different is more proof.

You did very well Earth. They got so much farther than they would have on their own. And I understand Moon not wanting to outright kill Eclipse anymore, the man is sad and at least slightly insane it doesnt feel as justified as when he was an active threat. But Lunar has a right to fear what that means and dislike the answer, especially since he hasnt seen how rough his former abuser is right now. This is a tough time for these two, but st least the path has been started toward reconciliation.

Makes sense that Lunar feels the way he does he wants to crawl back out of fear...I mean when he thought he was truly free of Eclipse, he came back and blew him up. He doesn't want to be hurt again...Yes Moon has made that impossible (or at the very least Eclipse will die if he tries). Lunar can't help how he feels, he doesn't want to go crawling back because he loves the life he has. Lunar's changed a lot and he needs to truly focus on himself. Moon: I don't want either of you to see him Welp no therapy for Eclipse...Granted doubt he'll really care to take it.
Age regression is when you mentally regress (age wise) to cope with trauma. Age dreaming is when you act like a younger age without actually mentally regressing to a child-like state. This seems closer to age dreaming, as he is not regressed mentally; meaning he can still handle heavy topics and address them properly. If I were explaining a sensitive topic to an age regressor, I’d have to be more careful with my words because I am essentially talking to a child. If I were explaining a sensitive topic to an age dreamer, I could explain it in a normal way because they aren’t ACTUALLY that age; they’re acting that age to cope with stress or trauma but they aren’t mentally regressed to it like an age regressor. Even when Lunar acts like a child, he explains he doesn’t want to be treated like one. (Hopefully this made sense-)
This whole thing makes me think of the "angry chair" technique. You place a picture of the person you are angry at and yell all of your feelings out. EVERYTHING. You should have a therapist observing for safety. The one rule is that you CANNOT become violent. No hitting or throwing things at the chair. There are other techniques where you let out your violent thoughts, but this is not one of them.

They're the only two who fully understand what it was like to go through that. to repeat what i said on an earlier episode, Moon has ABSOLUTLY ZERO TACT dear god like, when Earth and Lunar confronted him about Jack, Moon literally looked Lunar dead in the eyes and said "yeah Eclipse is back and he wants to use you" like BRO Lunar's whole trauma consists of Eclipse A: killing him or B: using him. Moon should've phrased it just "Eclipse is back, we dont know how, we're gonna find him and kill him dw" and thats IT. you dont have to tell Lunar that his abuser fucking wants to use him, he probably would've picked that up just form hearing that Eclipse is back. and then when sun convinced moon to tell lunar about eclipse still being alive, instead of starting off with "hey look, Eclipse is alive, we know here he is and we havent killed him yet. BUT he is our PRISONER, he is trapped, and heavily monitored, and he has a chip in him that will instantly kill him if he tried to hurt anyone". Moon tells Lunar "we're working with Eclipse", which isnt even true, they're not, they're making Eclipse work for them, and he should've clarified that everyone involved knows this isnt preferable and we all want him dead, but we cant kill him just yet cus he'll just come back. in other news, we basically need this episode, but for sunrise. but thats not gonna happen very soon as new moon and more importantly earth do not know what suns been through. yes he's given them the rundown when new moon first woke up, but sun was going through a lot and has never had support before now, plus hes only started accepting that the other moon was abusive and that he is in fact hurt and needs help. but hes likely only going to tell them that once he admits to new moon that he isnt the other moon and the other moon is dead, which sun has actually accepted in private but not yet to moon. so they can fix that and then start working forwards. and also i think sun and lunar KNOW that they've very similar, but acknowledging that means acknowledging what theyve been through which they dont want to because feeling feelings is gross and when they feel things they feel sad.

As I said in a previous comment, this is going to be small steps and a long time healing, but they handled this episode really well. I hope they start healing and start talking abit more making small progress over time. Im quite intrigued the other group session that Earth and Moon were talking about concerning Solar, but also Monty? At first I thought it would be over what Solar had briefly disclosed with his past Moon, and also him over working, and struggling to find their place in the family, but now im thinking, is this Earth helping Monty reveal his/her new look to his friends? Or both? Looking forward to that episode. Moon, you and Solar need to get out one evening, have a few drinks and have some fun or talk stuff out already when it comes to family affairs. Take a break guys, you need it, and focus on yourselves and your loved ones for a little while. The acting was great this whole ep from all parties involved. I was full latina mom watching soap opera kinda vibes bro. I thought Earth was just a cool OC before. This ep gave me some mad respect. She's so level headed about the whole situation and does a great job just giving a fair perspective to both parties.
Moon is right with saying Sun and Lunar are similar. They both have experienced trauma from their past brothers(because it was old Moon and this Eclipse isn’t the actual one just has memories). Both being physically and mentally/emotionally abused by them. (Definitely in much different scales but the mental impact was probably very similar but handled differently)
I think what lunar needs to realize is that all these emotions are what makes him him and kinda make him more human than a robot he doesn't understand because he doesn't view himself like a person he view himself as the robot made by eclipse

It hits different with the understanding of what Lunar's been feeling to an extent from a similar experience... Lunar doesn't need to forgive Eclipse, he needs to forgive himself for his role in the past... He may not realise it but that little part isn't begging him to forgive Eclipse, it's begging him for forgiveness because he subconsciously blames himself.

Lunar defaults to being 'small' but doesn't want to be treated as a child is so relatable to me- When it comes to age regression/little space, you arent a child. But its a safer feeling this way. Your fully able to understand everything, but your mind just needs a break to be small and safe. Amazing work by everyone on the team

I love how deep Lunar's psychology is, what he has is Stockholm Syndrome. It's not as evident as it is commonly shown in tv shows, but it's surely there. It's probably caused by how Eclipse used to treat him during the first October takeover. Eclipse used to not always act harshly and aggressively towards Lunar, sometimes being somewhat good to him, playing games with him and other times hitting him and calling him "useless" and "a mistake". All of that made Lunar feel lost and confused, making him not fully perceive Eclipse as an abuser because of how he acted in certain moments. Lunar still understands perfectly how Eclipse is not a good person, but a part of him still recognizes that little bit of good he saw in Eclipse and since he never tried healing the trauma this "good" part of Eclipse remained impressed in his mind.

I think it was pretty brave for Lunar to admit that he still wants to go back to Eclipse sometimes (even if he was built like that and it isn’t really an active choice). That’s the thing about relationships, whether it be romantic or platonic or familial, it isn’t always easy to just cut someone out of your life permanently. Even if you have a strong support system, even if you end up hating them, even if they hurt you, *YOU* are the one that always ends up wondering if you made the wrong choice in leaving or cutting them off. That doesn’t mean you did make the wrong choice, it just means you care and that you loved someone that never really deserved it.
As for acting like a ‘grown up’; I don’t know if anyone really knows what that means. I know people in their sixties that act like toddlers, and when I worked at an amusement park the parents were worse than the kids. Sometimes, I don’t think I’m any different than when I was a kid, because I feel like I still think and react the same way to things. Some people say that you’re an adult when you take on ‘responsibility’ but there are kids with more responsibility than adults.
Here’s how I look at it, but keep in mind I’m a nobody on the internet; what makes you a ‘grown up’ is how you react to the circumstances around you. It’s easy to go to your default emotions, like what kids do. That’s what makes us comfortable. In order to deal with reality and get things done though, sometimes you have to put emotions aside and think about things rationally and understand that some situations are not about you. I know that isn’t the nicest way to put it, but that’s what it comes down to. Which is what Moon was doing with the Eclipse situation. He probably should have told you Eclipse was back before he and Solar made Jack, but y’know…

When it comes to this particular subject, I just go by my own life experiences. I’m only one individual among billions, but when it comes to ‘growing up’ or humanity as a whole, the point is to strive to be better. That’s just evolution. Growing up is just a form of that. I still have fears, and problems, and doubts. I have those all the time, and I have a lot of them. I wanna be better though, because I wanna do better for the people around me, and the world as a whole.
That’s the same idea as planting trees or cleaning up the ocean. I plant a tree, because even if I won’t be able to enjoy the shade it will cast when it’s fully grown, or the fruit it bears, the generations after me will be able to enjoy the gifts the tree gives. And that’s what adulthood is; understanding that sometimes things aren’t about you, but about putting others’ needs before your own. About taking accountability for your actions, even if they make you uncomfortable. It’s about putting others first sometimes, and even if it’s hard to do, it has to be done. It’s about being brave and calm, even when you’re scared and even when you want to run.
I don’t really think it’s about not enjoying the things you love, or not ‘playing pretend’ or forgetting the things you liked as kids. It’s understanding when to pretend, and when to face reality (trust me, there are PLENTY of people who play pretend, or have imaginary friends. Not gonna touch on THAT though, I’d be burned at the stake). Having things that help you cope can get you through a lot of really hard things can HELP you be an adult. *THESE SHOWS* help me through my life. The characters of Sun and Moon *REALLY* helped me through a hard time that I honestly didn’t think I could get through by myself. -This isn’t about me though-
Basically what I’m trying to get at is, liking ‘childish’ things doesn’t make someone not an adult. These ideas are social constructs forced onto people by, well, society. Even the idea of being an adult is just an idea. Maturity is the idea that someone’s body has reached the stage to reproduce sexually according to biologists, and someone can hit ‘maturity’ as young as 12, does THAT mean they’re an ADULT? No. Everything is subjective, and the reason everything is subjective is because we’re humans, and everyday we try as hard as we can to understand the world, to understand our place in it, just to understand.

2. I think part of the reason Lunar wants Eclipse dead is because he wouldn't have to struggle with this internal conflict. He wouldn't feel the need to have part of himself forgive him if he were to die, and we all know how Lunar does his best to avoid internal turmoil.

Im sorry if I sound rude or angry in this statement I’m just really tired of seeing comments on different videos (and this vid too) who are just completely overlooking Lunar and his literal trauma and his fair reason on why he’s acting the way he is.
I think New Moon needed to hear Lunar talk about that he was designed to be Moon's opposite. New Moon and Lunar don't have the same relationship as Lunar had with OG Moon. OG Moon had befriended him before Lunar was forced to be a problem during the first takeover. So New Moon being reminded of what Lunar only was designed to be I think helps nail that point into New Moon more than when New Moon had to watch the show in the past to catch up to everything. It's a lot different to experience things than WATCHING characters going through the experience.
I know this isn't the same Moon, but this episode just shows how much character development Moon has gone through as well as trying to be a better person and brother towards his family.

The one problem with letting Eclipse go is that we don't know what his hardwired primary directive is. It could be forcing him to screw with the celestial family to an extent for all we know, or possibly even kill them. And he can't remove it without dying.

Eclipse is a monster. He’s my favourite character but what he did to Lunar and the effect he had on him… it’s a sobering reminder.
But I did suspect Moon would not be fully on board with killing Eclipse. He’s actually pretty merciful when he is not in impulsive rage mode.
I’m surprised that part of Lunar wants to forgive Eclipse and “crawl back” but I really shouldn’t be, that’s pretty common in victims of abuse. Truma bonding is one of the many, many weird things our brain does in long term stress situations.
But oof, I can see why Lunar walked out after Moon didn’t confirm he’d kill Eclipse. I suspect it would feel like to Lunar that Moon chose Eclipse over him. Ouch.
But after seeing in Eclipse what all-consuming hate does to a person… well I just hope Lunar doesn’t let his own hate eat him alive.

Moon gives off very much Dad energy but I do think Lunar has a legit reason to be angry.
Note for Lunar: now this is from personal experience. I've learned over time that it's okay to not forget what happened, but think about it if you can't forgive then that gives the person who hurt you control. If you can forgive him (again it's okay not to forget) you gain that control back, and you could move on in a even better way.
Technically this Eclipse isn't the one that did all those bad things to Lunar, this Eclipse only has some of the memories of the previous Eclipse. So this Eclipse hasn't technically done anything to Lunar. So even though this Eclipse has some of the memories of the previous Eclipse, doesn't he deserve a chance?
I mean.. 2 points:
1. We saw in the Eclipse and Castor video that Eclipse kept in mind that he could still betray them with the magic circle. Just saying.
2. Moon said Eclipse can't do anything to Lunar or anyone else. But he could still talk smack and insult Lunar or anyone else for that matter. One accidental encounter between Lunar and Eclipse, and Eclipse could be back with his manipulative tactics on Lunar.
When you put it that way, you can maybe see a parallel between Moon and Eclipse: Both have done things to their own brother that has left its marks (severity and overall impact varying, obviously), then dies before coming back somewhat new.
With that in mind, yes, Eclipse could have a chance. However, it's very unlikely, or to the very least, we are about to go through a lot of heavy lore of attempting to earn that chance, both from Lunar, the rest of the cast, and us the audience. And that's only a chance.
That is if he wants a chance. He hasnt really shown he wants redemption. He still wants to kill Moon. He just doesn't "hate Lunar," as he said to Gemini.

This episode was a WILD ride.
1. Lunar confirms that he's still working through wanting to "crawl back" to his abuser. I think a lot of us thought he was past that and shows how serious this all is.
2. Moon feels sorry for Eclipse and has second thoughts about killing him? It reminds me of Lunar's original argument with Sun about the same thing. "You're acting like the same person you're trying to get rid of."
3. Despite everything, Moon having doubts about killing Eclipse is... good. It makes him less like the old Moon. I think we've all been worried about that.
4. I hate to say it, but Lunar needs to talk to Eclipse. Lunar needs to be the one to approach him, with someone standing off to the side, not stepping in until Lunar asks. Probably Earth or Gemini. He needs to find some closure.

And one of the signs behind the “Sun’s happiness sign” says “Eclipse redemption”. So that is most likely foreshadowing that he’s going to get a redemption arc. Plus with him acting different is more proof.

You did very well Earth. They got so much farther than they would have on their own. And I understand Moon not wanting to outright kill Eclipse anymore, the man is sad and at least slightly insane it doesnt feel as justified as when he was an active threat. But Lunar has a right to fear what that means and dislike the answer, especially since he hasnt seen how rough his former abuser is right now.
This is a tough time for these two, but st least the path has been started toward reconciliation.

I have nothing much to say here. Makes sense that Lunar feels the way he does he wants to crawl back out of fear...I mean when he thought he was truly free of Eclipse, he came back and blew him up. He doesn't want to be hurt again...Yes Moon has made that impossible (or at the very least Eclipse will die if he tries). Lunar can't help how he feels, he doesn't want to go crawling back because he loves the life he has.
Lunar's changed a lot and he needs to truly focus on himself.

This seems closer to age dreaming, as he is not regressed mentally; meaning he can still handle heavy topics and address them properly. If I were explaining a sensitive topic to an age regressor, I’d have to be more careful with my words because I am essentially talking to a child. If I were explaining a sensitive topic to an age dreamer, I could explain it in a normal way because they aren’t ACTUALLY that age; they’re acting that age to cope with stress or trauma but they aren’t mentally regressed to it like an age regressor. Even when Lunar acts like a child, he explains he doesn’t want to be treated like one. (Hopefully this made sense-)

This whole thing makes me think of the "angry chair" technique. You place a picture of the person you are angry at and yell all of your feelings out. EVERYTHING. You should have a therapist observing for safety. The one rule is that you CANNOT become violent. No hitting or throwing things at the chair. There are other techniques where you let out your violent thoughts, but this is not one of them.

THIS! Sun and Lunar are so similar, especially when it comes to their experiences with Eclipse. They're the only two who fully understand what it was like to go through that. I really hope we get an episode where Sun and Lunar open up to each other about their feelings and trauma regarding Eclipse. I think it could go a long way in helping the both of them (especially Lunar)
to repeat what i said on an earlier episode, Moon has ABSOLUTLY ZERO TACT dear god
like, when Earth and Lunar confronted him about Jack, Moon literally looked Lunar dead in the eyes and said "yeah Eclipse is back and he wants to use you" like BRO Lunar's whole trauma consists of Eclipse A: killing him or B: using him. Moon should've phrased it just "Eclipse is back, we dont know how, we're gonna find him and kill him dw" and thats IT. you dont have to tell Lunar that his abuser fucking wants to use him, he probably would've picked that up just form hearing that Eclipse is back.
and then when sun convinced moon to tell lunar about eclipse still being alive, instead of starting off with "hey look, Eclipse is alive, we know here he is and we havent killed him yet. BUT he is our PRISONER, he is trapped, and heavily monitored, and he has a chip in him that will instantly kill him if he tried to hurt anyone". Moon tells Lunar "we're working with Eclipse", which isnt even true, they're not, they're making Eclipse work for them, and he should've clarified that everyone involved knows this isnt preferable and we all want him dead, but we cant kill him just yet cus he'll just come back.
in other news, we basically need this episode, but for sunrise. but thats not gonna happen very soon as new moon and more importantly earth do not know what suns been through. yes he's given them the rundown when new moon first woke up, but sun was going through a lot and has never had support before now, plus hes only started accepting that the other moon was abusive and that he is in fact hurt and needs help. but hes likely only going to tell them that once he admits to new moon that he isnt the other moon and the other moon is dead, which sun has actually accepted in private but not yet to moon. so they can fix that and then start working forwards.
and also i think sun and lunar KNOW that they've very similar, but acknowledging that means acknowledging what theyve been through which they dont want to because feeling feelings is gross and when they feel things they feel sad.
I just wanted to give Moon the biggest hug through most of that. 💔
Amazing episode, good first step to Moon and Lunar opening up and talking things over peoperly so they can process the situation. As I said in a previous comment, this is going to be small steps and a long time healing, but they handled this episode really well. I hope they start healing and start talking abit more making small progress over time.
Im quite intrigued the other group session that Earth and Moon were talking about concerning Solar, but also Monty? At first I thought it would be over what Solar had briefly disclosed with his past Moon, and also him over working, and struggling to find their place in the family, but now im thinking, is this Earth helping Monty reveal his/her new look to his friends? Or both? Looking forward to that episode.

The acting was great this whole ep from all parties involved. I was full latina mom watching soap opera kinda vibes bro. I thought Earth was just a cool OC before. This ep gave me some mad respect. She's so level headed about the whole situation and does a great job just giving a fair perspective to both parties.

Moon is right with saying Sun and Lunar are similar. They both have experienced trauma from their past brothers(because it was old Moon and this Eclipse isn’t the actual one just has memories). Both being physically and mentally/emotionally abused by them. (Definitely in much different scales but the mental impact was probably very similar but handled differently)

It hits different with the understanding of what Lunar's been feeling to an extent from a similar experience... Lunar doesn't need to forgive Eclipse, he needs to forgive himself for his role in the past... He may not realise it but that little part isn't begging him to forgive Eclipse, it's begging him for forgiveness because he subconsciously blames himself.
This is one of those episodes that I want and feel like I need to watch but at the same time I'm dreading it just because of my very poor mental state with TSBS😂❤
