that's correct, do not store battery on the hub. i was forget, i have dji mini 2. and when after long time not used and charged, one of the battery get dead, can't be charged anymore. i open the battery cover, one of the cell get low voltage, no wonder bms get protected...
Hi, thank you for the excellent advice. I have just bought a Mini SE and I am a complete novice. If I have understood you correctly, the way to look after the batteries is: 1 When you are not using the drone for a week or two, charge all three batteries fully, then take them out of the battery pack and leave them, perhaps on a shelf or in a drawer. Charge them up fully the day before you use them. 2 Never leave them in the battery pack, or in the drone, after they are fully charged. Is this correct. Thank you, you are awesome.

Hello, I have inquiry if a dji mini 2 se battery works with dji mini 2 drone? Ive seen videos that mini 1 can work to mini 2. the mini 2 se has 2250mah and the mini 2 has 2400 mah capacity. Additionally the charging hub works for mini 1, mini 2, and mini 2 se. Please if anyone can answer I would gladly appreciate it. Thanks in Advance
I have been storing my DJI mini se batteries, after charging, back in the hub, but with a tight rubber band placed around the top, thus preventing the contacts to meet. This works for me, and the hub with the batteries fit just fine back in the carry case spot, the other suggestion I have seen is to store the charged batteries, back to front , in the hub, in so doing, also voids the contacts meeting , if indeed, this is what is required to allow the required passive discharge? This second option is perhaps not ideal, as it is quite a tight fit so I wonder if , over time it may damage either the battery, or the hub? If I am correct, that the object is to avoid fully charged batteries’ terminal contacts , joining those in the hub ,then the right sized , snug fitting rubber bands are my suggestion. Any comments?
Yeah that seems ok, when contacts are away from contact, but to turn batteries upside down I think it is impossible to fit in the hub. Thanks for sharing those informations.
I have only slight issue, I bought the Mini SE a while ago and decided to get more batteries for better times. When I got them one of them fit perfectly but the other one doesn’t necessarily slide in smoothly, I have realized that the corners of the battery aren’t completely smooth and they have a thing that prevents it to slide perfectly in, maybe it’s some sort of thing that happens with the material (I can’t really explain it very well), I have tried to wipe the batter with towels and what not (not wet ones) and it doesn’t work, can someone please tell me what’s going on with my battery?
No this video is now worthless information that is not true. once you update ( like your supposed to ) over 1.7.0 then the battery issue has been resolved and you CAN keep the batteries in the hub or the drone.. the batteries will have been updated.
Batteries will drain in the hub. You can also turn the batteries around in the hub do they are not hitting the contacts.
Great tip - storing cables in battery hub which frees up space for the batteries on top of the hub. Thanks.

Correct,
This issue has been rectified they now drain in the drone & hub
@@k1b854 Thank you for the update
Just turn them around and push into hub easy
I really don't know how to turn them and put into hub when they are designed to fit into hub only one way
I'm using this method, working perfectly 👍

I pull my batteries a little bit off of the hub

dji already fix this issue in last patch.
Correct! this issue was fixed like a year ago already.
Turn the batteries around in the hub. It's a little harder but you will not damage the hub or the batteries.
Don't get it how it is possible to turn the batteries and fit them in hub

dji mini 2 and dji mini se have the same batteries?... if I put a dji mini 2 battery in an dji mini se it will work?
Hello, yes, mini2 and mini SE are using the same batteries so you can use it freely
i have a 3 spot batterie for recharging....so i need to put them in but not clicking them ?
Yes
Does the mini SE take the same battery as the mini 2?
Yes, you can use the same batteries for both devices
Which batteries should I get for my dji mini SE. can someone send me a link for a good place to buy them
DJI min 2 Inteligent battery. It was the one it was designed for

Never seen such bad finish on batteries, are they original one and are they for mini 2 or mini se, bcs batteries for dji mini cannot fit for mini se
@@revieweverythingforyou282 They came brand new from the box, ordered from Amazon, specified that it worked both for the SE and the 2
So its ok to fully charge the battery then store it for a long time?
I guess so
Yes it is, if you store them outside ths hub and drone itself. And also aprox every 3months you should drain your batteries to the max.
@@revieweverythingforyou282 but you can put batterie on hub but just dont click them on the bottom.....?

I haven't seen that dji claimed such thing.
