I've been rolling a Spellshot/Stabomancer build, and Sever the Thread is really good on that. due to Stabbomancer's passive ability, you'l be critting a lot even withiut investments to dexterity. I personally like to roll with one spell that has several charges, and one big spell with a long cooldown.
This vid seems more realistic than the typical "INSANE BUILD" videos that I see. Mostly cause all their gear for those builds has been farmed for countless hours (Way more time than what I have) And this build doesnt seem to need insanely particular gear and god rolls to be efficient. Good video man. Would like to know what you're running in the clips as far as spells though
It's similar to how i built it but i focused more on the Graveborn side, giving the lich a chance to blast twice for each spell instead of nice, spell might make explosions and then instead of boosting dark damage (since i don't currently have any good dark weapons or spells comparably to other elements) and i don't use the guns all that much, instead investing in HP increases and that flat +20% bonus dark magic to every spell, so every time i cast a spell i first heal for a big % and since every spell now also deals a chunk of dark magic damage i get healing from that too + spawning hydras that heals me, and that bonus halfway down the tree to increase max hp & spell damage (stacks) synergises very nicely with spellweaving giving me 2 stacking magic damage buffs. and then spell crit, cooldown & glass cannon on the spellshot side (not like i need the ward anyway with my heavy focus on max hp & healing). So while my skill tree focuses more on graveborn, on my gear i prefer jewelry&class mods that boost Spellshot power since it just makes spellweaving stronger which is more useful than powering up the lich.... Don't know if it's just me but the lich ui seems bugged, it's often dead with a 0:00 respawn timer while flying around so i have no idea if he actually does hes job or not anyway.
Double spell is extremely strong, and is what I'm using currently, but I think polymorph is being slept on. With the right weapon/build I think you can be casting more spells and potentially more damage
War Caster, which you boosted with your class mod, actually reads that you get a higher chance to reload your weapon for every spellweaving stack, with how fast you spam your spells I think you should always have at least 8 spellweaving stacks which means that you will only need 4 points in War Caster to reach a 112% chance to reload whenever you kill an enemy, so you are totally wasting 1 skill point and your class mod right now and I highly reccomend getting something with more dmg

To be fair: (and hopefully not much of an a.hole) This isn´t much due to the build but the built in synergies in Spellshot. I am not the brightest bulb in the ocean reagrding builds, but even I figured out that synergy. I was pleasantly surprised that spells actually really work well in this game. You could easily just pimp out Spellshot and be fine. There was also no debate on which secondary to use since the only thing you can´t get enough as spellshot is more Cooldown reduction on spells and LL/health regen. The minion firing bolts was just the icing on the cake.
Literally already playing like this checked it out cause it was my class and laughed the whole way through because this path of destruction is exactly what my playstyle is 😅
I've been pouring over the skill builder's wracking my brain trying to find some crazy kill skill build worth getting the Grave capstone for, and while there's some good ones spread around, count them in other trees, there's like barely ANY kill skills in other classes to motivate you to combine any trees together for a kill skill build and that makes me sad. These trees are interesting and frustrating at the same time, with Hydras being a kill skill if you take them for the Faithful Thrall bonus, you end up wanting to be a pet spam build instead and I don't even know every source and max count of pets in the game yet. So what started with searching for kill skill build ends me up with a max pets to buff spell damage build. Which still sounds fun!

Just want to mention, unless it's a big, my spell sniper doesn't add a flat 60% crit chance (lvl 5 version for sake of explanation). I'm assuming It adds a 60% crit to the base of your crit chance.
