Toda una familia, hecha acá, y como en Cinema Paradiso, le digo, y no mires atrás, ya no queda nada... Pobre mí nono, todo fue en vano.
My dad showed me this movie, I remember when he first put it on I thought to myself why the hell am I watching this old crappy movie. When it ended I was floored, such an incredible movie. My dad passed a couple years back, and this song is so powerful. Just reminds me of all the good times I shared with him.
In my town there was one of the oldest cinemas of all Spain, build as a theater in the year 1898. Its name was Cine Euterpe and was part of my childhood and teenager years until being permanently close in 1997. Later, in the early 2000s it was open again by a group of anarchists that did demand it to be restored. When I entered in its ruined hall I did snap and cried like few moments in my life. Is for this reason the scene with Toto visiting the ruins of Cinema Paradiso does hit me very hard.

I love this film so much and often play my copy without the sub titles. I know every scene so well that i have no trouble following events and it lets me focus more on the wonderful actors without having to read quickly then dart back to the performances.

I saw this movie over 20 years ago and it has always stayed in my heart. The story was so touching and yet familiar. Only an Italian cinema genius could have done it so well.

The love of a little fatherless boy for movies and between him and the cinema projectionist in a little Sicilian town a love so strong that he saves his friend from being burned alive. Then the love he has for his teenage girl friend where the course of love does not run true. It is truly a magnificent movie with a wonderful musical love theme by Ennio Morricone.

Ahhh Cinema Paradiso, one of the most, if not the most memorable films I've seen; such absorbing real life events accompanied by Ennio Morricone's gorgeous and emotive music which always brings me to tears no matter how many times I hear it. I missed seeing the film when it was first released and only chased down a copy of it on DVD recently after seeing and hearing young Cormac Thompson's rendition of Cinema Paradiso (Se) in late 2023 ... I'm so fortunate that I eventually got to see this amazing and wonderful film.

Yo he vivido ver grandes y lujosos cines de cuidad y de verano cerrar para abrir los de centros comerciales 😢😢 .Murcia cines; Floridablanca, Rex, Coliseum, Salzillo, que romántico y que mágico ❤, desaparecieron para construirlos en los centros comerciales en las afueras,, olvidando a ancianos y resto de personas para los que nos era un lujo tener algo así cerca y que cada cine era distinto pero bellísimo, no pudimos hacer nada😢😢😢.El último en cerrar fue uno de los principales, cine Rex, en el querían hacer unas instalaciones privadas, recoger firmas sirvió de poco😢😢😢. La ciudad así tenía muchísimo movimiento , pero ganaron los centros comerciales. Pues esa magia sucedía en los cines, estaban repletos de emociones y sensaciones...Si amas el cine tienes que ver esta obra de arte del cine, que hasta en el instituto nos hacían ver nuestros profesores, una joya del cine y una música espectacular. Tiene que ver esta pelicula❤

Ambientaciones excelentes, actuaciones magníficas, tema musical apasionante y fragmentos inolvidables de los que destaco dos de tantos; las palabras del operador del cine, ciego por el incendio en el mismo, cuando le dice a Toto quien se va del pueblo: "No regreses nunca, prometelo"... "No regreses Toto" Y la escena final, cuando Toto ya empresario de cine ve la cinta que le hereda su amigo de las partes de películas que no pasaron la censura ... Sus lágrimas; mezcla de tristeza, recuerdos, agradecimiento, y amor a su tutor por el regalo ....!! Ésas lágrimas son genuinas y de las mejores que se han visto en películas !!.... En verdad hacen llorar al espectador !! Hay mucho, mucho, mucho que ver, comentar y recordar de Cinema Paradiso !! Ya estoy llorando solo por recordar !!

His music soothed my soul, inspired and supported me in dark times. He was a true master and his art will live on forever. I couldn’t think of a more appropriate tribute to his genius than the memorable ending scene from “Cinema Parodiso”. Rest In Peace, Maestro.💔

I heard an orchestra play this irl. It was the best thing I had ever heard in my whole life. So beautiful I cried for minutes. I love this movie and this song so much, it’s impossible to describe. I wish everyone on this planet could feel the way I do when I listen to this.

I saw this film at its first opening in London decades ago. Well, what can I say, Cinema Paradiso captures and encapsulates life, happiness, emotions, love, and beautiful memories of one's life all in one hit. I have watched it several times over just for the pure magic and storytelling at its best. The ending is just so emotional and fabulous-a beautiful and masterpiece film score. Your Spaghetti Western Scores were also brilliant. RIP Ennio Morricone.
Just heard that Ennio pasted away. I’m sitting and listening to this melody. I was lucky to attend his concert. Nobody was able to write such kind of music. You listen once and know it’s Morriconne. So sad that he passed away...

es cierto, una de las mejores películas del cine italiano, la vita è bella se queda muy corta, pero hay más películas bellísimas, les recomiendo "il postino", esa película también es verdaderamente bella.

Cinema Paradiso is my favourite film of all time, and the music is so evocative and emotional. I'm not ashamed to say that I cry every time I se the closing scenes.

Mi pelicula favorita y seguro la de mucha gente, son de esas películas que tendría que ver todo el mundo por lo menos una vez en la vida , es una obra maestra que homenajea al septimo arte es cine dentro del cine ,una belka historia acompañada de una banda sonora del gran morricone que con esa delicada melodia logra acariciar los sentidos

The love of a little fatherless boy for movies and between him and the cinema projectionist in a little Sicilian town a love so strong that he saves his friend from being burned alive. Then the love he has for his teenage girl friend where the course of love does not run true. It is truly a magnificent movie with a wonderful musical love theme by Ennio Morricone.

Que peliculon! No nací en los 80's así que no estaba enterada de esta película y vi por Instagram algo de esta película y wow que peliculon, me enamoré completamente! una de mis favoritas! La música increíble, la actuación del Toto niño, el amor de Alfredo, el desamor, el amor por el cine, la inocencia bravo! Una obra maestra

Ahhh Cinema Paradiso, one of the most, if not the most memorable films I've seen; such absorbing real life events accompanied by Ennio Morricone's gorgeous and emotive music which always brings me to tears no matter how many times I hear it. I missed seeing the film when it was first released and only chased down a copy of it on DVD recently after seeing and hearing young Cormac Thompson's rendition of Cinema Paradiso (Se) in late 2023 ... I'm so fortunate that I eventually got to see this amazing and wonderful film.

Yo he vivido ver grandes y lujosos cines de cuidad y de verano cerrar para abrir los de centros comerciales 😢😢 .Murcia cines; Floridablanca, Rex, Coliseum, Salzillo, que romántico y que mágico ❤, desaparecieron para construirlos en los centros comerciales en las afueras,, olvidando a ancianos y resto de personas para los que nos era un lujo tener algo así cerca y que cada cine era distinto pero bellísimo, no pudimos hacer nada😢😢😢.El último en cerrar fue uno de los principales, cine Rex, en el querían hacer unas instalaciones privadas, recoger firmas sirvió de poco😢😢😢. La ciudad así tenía muchísimo movimiento , pero ganaron los centros comerciales. Pues esa magia sucedía en los cines, estaban repletos de emociones y sensaciones...Si amas el cine tienes que ver esta obra de arte del cine, que hasta en el instituto nos hacían ver nuestros profesores, una joya del cine y una música espectacular. Tiene que ver esta pelicula❤

Ambientaciones excelentes, actuaciones magníficas, tema musical apasionante y fragmentos inolvidables de los que destaco dos de tantos; las palabras del operador del cine, ciego por el incendio en el mismo, cuando le dice a Toto quien se va del pueblo:
"No regreses nunca, prometelo"...
"No regreses Toto"
Y la escena final, cuando Toto ya empresario de cine ve la cinta que le hereda su amigo de las partes de películas que no pasaron la censura ...
Sus lágrimas; mezcla de tristeza, recuerdos, agradecimiento, y amor a su tutor por el regalo ....!!
Ésas lágrimas son genuinas y de las mejores que se han visto en películas !!.... En verdad hacen llorar al espectador !!

Ennio Morricone is no more. He probably was the greatest score composer of all times. His creativity, versatility and empathy had no bounds. His music soothed my soul, inspired and supported me in dark times. He was a true master and his art will live on forever. I couldn’t think of a more appropriate tribute to his genius than the memorable ending scene from “Cinema Parodiso”.

me acuerdo q x allá x 1990 la vi casualmente xq no habia otra en cartelera q nos hayan referido ( fui con amigas ) cuando sali del cine estaba totalmente conmocionada no podia dejar de llorar y moquear y no keria irme! tanto fue asi q al salir me compré en musimundo el cd de la banda sonora y empezo mi romance con morricone jaja (x aquel entonces eran cd) al q sigo amando, teniendo y escuchando lo guarde como una joya del cine . no viviste si no escuchaste esa musica y si no viste esta peli q atraviesa el alma. no te la pierdas !!

viendo esta obra maestra, te das cuenta que ahora el cine dejo de ser aquella "El 7 arte", aquella pasión por filmar una película que le llegue a los corazones de los espectadores, y se convirtió en una proyección ridícula de efectos especiales con el unico fin de ganar dinero

I saw this film at its first opening in London decades ago. Well, what can I say, Cinema Paradiso captures and encapsulates life, happiness, emotions, love, and beautiful memories of one's life all in one hit. I have watched it several times over just for the pure magic and storytelling at its best. The ending is just so emotional and fabulous-a beautiful and masterpiece film score. Your Spaghetti Western Scores were also brilliant. RIP Ennio Morricone.
Just heard that Ennio pasted away. I’m sitting and listening to this melody. I was lucky to attend his concert. Nobody was able to write such kind of music. You listen once and know it’s Morriconne. So sad that he passed away...
