      A little off topic.... Is it possible to "scalp" trade the same stock over and over once you elect a "mark to market" and trading above the PDT rule? For example, if I Buy 1000 shares of a stock for $1.50 and set my sale at $1.51 profiting $10 per 1 cent deviation.. Say I do this same trade on this same stock 100x in a day... And of these trades some were sold at market and I profit $500 by the end of the trading day, but had $-100 trades that didn't go green which doesn't matter to me because the daily is still up by $500. What are the effects of "wash sales" before electing a mark to market oppose to after??? Thanks for the influence... Cheers!!

    Stocks extended their year-to-date rally following the CPI report, with the S&P 500 last up 0.8% in afternoon trading. but I don't know if stocks will quickly rebound, continue to pull back or move sideways for a few weeks, or if conditions will rapidly deteriorate.I am under pressure to grow my reserve.

      There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.

    • @joshbarney114
      @joshbarney114 24 дня назад +5

      I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

      I appreciate the implementation of ideas and strategies that result to unmeasurable progress. Being heavily liquid, I'd rather not reinvent the wheel, thus the search for a reputable advisor, mind sharing info of this person guiding you please?

    Ross you really taught me a lot!
    This week has been kinda dry and slow for me tbh , I took one trade on Tuesday about 120$ green day and i walked away. And on Wednesday and Thursday didn’t trade at all because the price action was choppy. I’m practicing discipline right now avoiding trades that don’t seem good to me and trustworthy. Been overall green. Thanks ross!

    Hey Ross! Love your videos and learned a lot from you. I really began to understand technical analysis side of trading, but have a hard time understanding why it's been "dry" this month, or even March as a general. The market is so choppy and I see the volumes are down. If you could explain more of a market sentiment in your videos, I would be really grateful.

  • @SuperBigbill2

    Another well and truly explained tutorial ross, certainly some big moves being portrayed here today. If you got in at the beginning of some of these trades, you were certainly going to make a few quid. I noticed just how low the share price was on these stocks, which is not what you normally go for, I suppose the volume and float made them interesting, so I hope you got something from this volatility. As for me another green day, I am not doing bad am I, so my strategy is, don’t change anything, keep using the same tactics and all being well I should be ok.
    Have a great weekend ross and I am already, looking forward to seeing what next week has to offer
    Bill.

    Have you guys done a video on a strategy when it comes to the opening bell? I’ve been in the sim for a month and noticed things are so wild at 9:30 that it’s almost too risky going into the open with an open position even with a decent news catalyst. BDRX today had okay news but at the open it tanked. I tested a theory with having a small position premarket in hopes it would squeeze up to just under $2. ( this stock is too cheap to even mess around with, but just testing things out) I wanted to buy a dip shortly after the open in the tug-n-war battle then wait for it to shoot up, but it did the complete opposite today. So now I’m thinking of a new strategy to just trade premarket and maybe 20 minutes or so after the opening bell once things settle down. What advice would you give to a newbie like me when it comes to timing? My real account goes live May 1st and I feel like I only have half of my plan down. Thanks Warriors!

    Hi, I have been seeing in pre market that some stocks will consolidate and then boom a huge candle where the price dips a dollar or more only to come right back up to where it was. What is the cause of that? The stock usually been quite the whole morning then it just randomly happens so if you had a stop loss your getting stopped out only to lose because the price went right back up to where it was previously. Can you explain this situation?

I did buy CZOO at $12.24 today and did not see it ever rise above that so I sold at $10.73 just to get out. Did not loose much, because I am just learning so I only bought about 2 shares.

    From my observation and historical market pattern. there might be a bit of turbulence in the market coming up, but here's the deal: Trying to guess what's going to happen next is less important than spreading your bets when trading and thinking long term. It's not about guessing the market's next move, it's about playing it smart and steady...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Brigitte Della McKnight, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.
