Catamaran Ferries International was a 1990s-company stood up by the BC Government to attempt to build fast ferries like the PacifiCat. Turned into a total flop, but this is a video from their CD.

I skipped school on it's first day of service in order to be one of the first to ride it. I have a safety card as well as a couple of the promotional booklets that Primal Communications in Nanaimo designed for the Pacificat Explorer

I rode these often. Broke down as much they ran, had to always turn around to dock, outer decks were tiny and the seating area was always over full. Pretty crap.

Me being from BC 🇨🇦 and riding on these ferries was an absolute joke and financial disaster for BC tax payers!!! They were a joke! Now they sit in Turkey rotting away!
