Sorry to hear Gaz is no longer in the band mate! I totally agree with you Kris… when you talk about the dynamics of the band… it’s equally as important as the music you write! Good to see you as always mate!🤘🏻
Best wishes to you all mate. Hopefully you'll all find a better place now. It's tough being in a band if you are not all seeing eye to eye, especially heartbreaking if you are friends too. Experienced our fair share of that in recent years. This last year has been better than ever though after making some much needed yet very tough changes.
Sorry to hear about the spkit woth Gaz. Hope there wasn't too much drama and that you guys can work things out amicably and remain friends. I still look forward to hearing the new material on record and seeing you live in one (or, indeed, all) of your projects soon enough! Cheers! 🤘
Thanks for the update, Kris. I did wonder after seeing the social media posts over the weekend. Maybe you can coax Marc G out of retirement to play live for Green Sabre. Godthrymm need to play Manchester ( we could have a massive VC meet up). Take care buddy 🤘🍻
Hi Kris, thanks for the update. That's a shame you've lost a member of Green Sabre, but I guess it happens with bands all the time. It is hard as you say, I'd love to get a band together and play some of my solo tracks live. Or just try to get a band together to make a new project, but it's so damn hard!! Just gotta keep plugging away. On brighter news, that's so awesome you'll be playing with Liam's band! That would be really cool to see. And a video under 10 minutes, that's gotta be a record! 😂 Nice one mate 😊🤘
Cheers bud. Yeah, it’s a really fragile dynamic and only works when all components are firing on all cylinders 👍 We’ll be fine & im excited to see where the next chapter takes us 🤘💥
@@greensabre You're welcome mate! Yeah you're right, there's always some kind of tension there. And sometimes it can snap at any moment. Yep, it only works when everyone is on the same wavelength, if one veers off it won't work. But I'm glad to hear it not going to effect you and you're going to carry on. That's great, onto the next chapter Kris! 😁🤘👍
Really sorry to hear about whats going on with gs and its a shame gaz is no longer a member of the band. Being in a underground band is a extremely expensive and frustrating hobby at times but is great when things go your way. Luckily for yourself you have joined godthrymm with a doom metal juggernaut that is hamish so due to his( well earned) connections will have less road bumps going forward. I look forward to hearing the gs recordings and keep plugging away. Hopefully ill bump into you for a catch up with you at a northern gig with one of your bands before the end of the year.
I'm sorry to hear about the disruption in GS, but hopefully, things will be rectified amicably. The Godthrymm tour needs to get up t'North 😂 I still prefer the 4 hour waffle vids 🤘
Ill send you my bill to fly out and play in Green Sabre... If i could play guitar and didn't live on the arse of England then I totally would! Seems strange we didn't get asked to play that Ipswich gig as only an hour up the road, and Andy our guitarist lives there haha. Bands are the biggest pain in my backside, money, being on the same wave length and creative differences all lead to the biggest diva moments metal head blokes can produce. Think we should do a live stream on how much of a pain in the arse it is to be in bands haha!

Thanks mate. Yeah, bands are a fragile dynamic alright. One weak link & the whole thing suffers 👎

Cheers matey, much appreciated. Yeah, not a decision we made lightly but I definitely feel was the right one. Onwards and upwards etc 🤘👍

Cheers matey. Yeah, I’m sure it’ll iron itself out. Something that’s needed sorting for a while now though so onwards & upwards 👍

Cheers matey. Would absolutely love a big VC meet up! I’ll see what I can get sorted…

Thank you mate. Yeah, need to detour up your way for a gig for sure! I promise to work on some more long-form vids too… 😂

Cheers bud! Yeah, definitely up for a “it’s shite being in bands” livestream 😂😂
