The parallel pen cartridge ink bleeds on everything! It was driving me crazy. I found Tomoe River FP 68gsm worked best with the standard ink - even though that paper is thin, it doesn't bleed too much. Eventually I switched ink for the parallel completely & now it doesnt bleed at all. I am happy. I use Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black.

U should get a min of 80gsm paper but recommended is 100gsm one it works grt for calligraphy

For sure u can, just Make sure that the ink is dye based, because pigmemt based ink will clog up the mechanism.
