Yeah bro, I just unlocked a T-55A myself yesterday, after the T-54's it's a completely different experience, although there seems to be only a few differences between the two
It has everything you need - accurate, but it doesnt have it in spades. The T-55 is a very average platform with a very average everything. It's always the person behind the keyboard that makes all the difference. And yes i LOVE the T-55 to bits.
@@LionMaster_WT heh. I have the T-55A and the T-55AM1. I love those two more than the T-72 and T-62 in roughly the same bracket. I don't have great win rates with them but I'd be surprised if I didn't have at least a 3:1 k/d ratio with both.
@@LionMaster_WT nah, not really a big fan of the T-62 series. the M-1 has these standoff plates on the side that kinda detracts from the appearance but that's just me, i prefer the 55AM-1's look.
This is not first gen APDS. The one that most people complaining about is small caliber first gen APDSs. U can find them on a lot of British low to mid tier vehicles. The damage is pitiful, angle pen is pretty bad, shatters and accuracy is also bad.
@@alexmurphy6574 Well, from my experience there's not much differences between the two as both shatter under pretty much the same circumstances. Also, most bri'ish vehicles either have the 2nd gen apcr, or have no apcr and use regular ap shells instead. Actually, I don't seem to remember any BRI tanks which come with 1 gen apcr as stock. That's more of a French thing on tier 1 than anything.
@@Философ not APCR, APDS and thay generally aren't stock shell you have to research it. 17 pounder and 20 pounder British, Challenger, comet, cent mk1 mk3, etc Thay all have terrible post pen damage unless hit the ammo directly.
@@alexmurphy6574 Hold up. But it is APCR. Otherwise the "2 gen APDS" would be the APFSDS, which obviously can never shatter and which is generally a great round. The T-55 from the video came with stock "1st gen APDS/2nd gen APCR" shells, which are definitely not APFSDS. Using your terminology (APDS, not APCR) it would only make sense for this shell to be a first gen APDS (which makes the rest of your initial point impossible, as there no other 1 gen APDS).
awesome video! Keep it up!
Thanks
When I used the T-55A I always got killed from every angle and couldn't pen sh!t sometimes... idk skill Issue for me...
Good Video Though!!! 👍 👌
Idk, I am having great time with it. At the start I've got 1 kill and then died. But now i get 5 kill matches easily
@@LionMaster_WT nice
Everything you need… except for turret traverse and reverse speed

The T-55A is so much better by anything but the stabilizer is my favourite thing after T44 and T54

In this case, controller:)

It is very much like a Sherman to be honest. Average overall, but truly shines in the hands of a good player.
I love t55
I am too :)
cool I don't see why Spookston was whining about APDS not being good.
From my experience, i played 25 matches with APDS and my shell shattered only once on m103 roof

For a cool part of the video, have a montage of just short clips of you getting the kill (like 1s clips) and then go back to normal footage
Yeah, it's a little nice detail
nice music
Thanks
We need a Bosanka skin for this tank
i think you meant t55 amd1 tbh, that GOT everything
Unfortunately i don't have it
@@LionMaster_WT you ll have it soon dont worry
