I have both the first and second tale and I wasn't really crazy about these books when I got them. However, I'm going to color along anyway. The more I look through this particular book, the more it's growing on me. So excited to get started!! Thank you Lucy for doing this for us! ❤

Very excited to join in, I’ve had this book series for some time and this is a great motivation to work in them. I love using multiple supplies and have Posca and gel pens that I use a lot

I’m so hyped up for this…I do think it would be nice to switch up pencils once in a while, personally I love my poly’s as much as prisma. I’m glad we will be skipping around, I think it will make the anticipation more fun. I love using other mediums…markers, watercolors, sparkly gel pens, gel sticks, posca, whatever I love it all!!! 🤪

I am so excited! I usually only get couple of hours in the weekends but will do my best to keep up. Just being able to watch you color more often makes me happy. You will be my first follow along. Use all your heart desires, think it will allow us to grow as colorist!
Sounds very good whatever you need to finish page. I had been wandering about backgrounds, like o dear pencil too much. So black posca and I don't have a problem with pastels too.

I reckon it's okay to use poscas, gel pens or whatnot because a lot of us have those anyway :)

I don’t mind you using other supplies beyond the prismas. That makes it more fun. If I don’t have the exact same supply, I’ll just improvise 😊

I would love for you to use all the supplies! I've been coloring since 2015 and I have only completed one book (Halloween color by number) so I'm so excited for this project 😃
HI Lucy all the best of luck with this endeavour. its a lovely book and as others have said use whatever supplies you have and don't feel guilty, I'm sure most of us are grown up enough to substitute supplies if needs be. I will try to follow along whilst on leave and see how mine turn out in comparison to yours. Stay happy wishing you all the best. if this works out well maybe try it again soon. This is great Lucy I’m up for anything you want to do I’d love it if you use all your normal supplies we can always adapt with what supplies we have . Iv done a couple of pages in my book so my plan is that when you get to the pages Iv done, I’m just going to listen to you chatting. Can’t wait to see what the first page is your going to do. Hi, Lucy! I’ve been meaning to say this somewhere, but I unfortunately only have the First Tale and unlike most people who color, I tend to color what I have before buying too many books or series books like these. I also don’t pay or support memberships :(( I might try & color as much as the First Tale this year to make myself feel better, but it’s great everyone chose this book as I adore Eriy’s Second & Third and look forward to color and own them one day!
I plan to follow along but do my own thing so I probably won't do everything you do, so do not worry, even one bit about what supplies you use! Cause it is likely that I will use my own supplies anyways!

Just joined and I’m looking forward to this. I haven’t even touched this book yet. I don’t have all the Prismas but I can easily substitute polys or another set. For those who don’t have Prismas, there’s another channel that has a conversion chart of Prismas to many other sets, including Crayola. I can’t say the name of it because my comment won’t get posted, unfortunately. Lucy, I emailed the link to you.

Lucy, I will be joining in April. At the time I enroll, will the pay system automatically go back and pay me up from the beginning (missed months) or do I need to make a special request in order to not miss those previous months?
Also, are we to assume that there will be about 4 color alongs per month, unless you need to go to a part II? - Or would the part II be one of the 4 color alongs?
