- We have had a heatwave followed by torrential rain over a three-week period. Needless to say, the garden needs some serious attention!
In this video I spend the day catching up with the backyard from the Secret Garden to the lawn. I am also trying out a new Weed Wacker/ Edge Trimmer from #wildbadgerpower. It's a cordless one, something I needed for a long time. Let's put it to the test!

Sophia, when my zucchini gets too big, I cut them in half lengthways. Scoop out the center seed section and fill with pasta sauce - mine is tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers and onions. Top with cheese of your choice and cover with foil. Bake at 350 until tender. So delicious! ❤

It’s a lot of work but always such satisfaction when you spend time weeding and trimming and the garden looks so nice. I have to take my gloves off too. You can’t pull weeds out very well with gloves on. As far as Martha Stewart, she has a team of gardeners, she is not doing all that herself. You would work circles around Martha.
Your yard and garden are just beautiful! Isn't it just amazing how they go from practically nothing to exploding with color and beauty? We also grew string beans this year, but we had a big heatwave and are not sure we are actually going to get any beans. It looks like a big hedge in our garden and my husband said that he has never had them grow so high and so well, but no beans are setting on. I hope yours do better than ours. But we have cucumbers (I am making pickles today), zucchini, and will have tomatoes, watermelons and cantalopes (sic). I can't wait!

Yay!!!! Gardening time. I k iw what you mean about the heat we are having g 42 degree c heat and it's instant headache as soon as you step outside. Very funny though because tourists are sitting out in full sun and all is locals are darting from shade to Aircon to car 😂😂

We went electric in our yard a few years ago and love it! Just remember to take your batteries snd charger inside for the winter 😊

Have you ever tried stir frying cucumber? I have Spanish pepino in my garden and they produce like crazy. One of my family doesn't like courgette so I always cut a couple of cucumbers and stir-fry them with garlic... Delicious
I have not been in my garden and yard much either way too hot here. My garden is sone now. I will plant fall garden in September. I did not yield as many tomatoes and peppers as I would like so maybe I will plant more in the fall. But the stock tank garden worked well.
I love your gardens the flowers look really good. My roses didn’t do good this year either. I planted 6 Cannes bulbs and only one came up. I think maybe it’s the heat this year. In East Tennessee is was miserable for almost all of July 😢 and then we went without rain for what seem like 2 months then we got a downpour for two days straight 😂

Ythat watch just does what it needs to do without breaking the bank. People always deride knock off as though they are inferior. Yeah ok. They re the ones being ripped off but whatever. Going strong for how many years with mine? I just recently upgraded to their model that answers calls, it s basically the same thing, just a bit smaller. And found a magnetic strap on Amazon for $9. Boom. Still under $70 for the whole thing and it does the same. Glad you like yours.
