I had a thermoelectric cooler a long time ago. I found that as a cooler it wasn't very useful in hot temps. I did find it useful as a food warmer in cold temps when transporting hot food to a party. Thanks for this video. The form factor of this 12v compressor fridge has me interested. It may fit with my future travel plans.
I would recommend buying off Amazon for that reason. I don't have a coupon code sorry, but Amazon Prime Day is only about 1 month away, if you can wait till then I'm sure they will have a huge discount.

Yes, the compressor needs cooling so there are exposed components.
