Good to see a chess player laugh and smile so much. I felt chess makes people serious looking at most players

She will definitely be the next Women Grandmaster of India .
Feeling sad though she missed her chances to get GM norm she was very close to 2600 performance.

Other players are trying to become GM, Divya is trying to become CEO. That is some formals she is wearing there.
Humpy, Harika, Vaishali, Divya, Vantika/Tania seems like a very good team for Olympiad this year.

Nice that they introduced the Masters qualifying rule for the Challengers winner. Most tournaments use this, so I missed it here.

Most of the tournaments with this 'rule' are closed events, which is not the case with Sharjah Masters. As has been mentioned, she would have most likely qualified next year for the Masters event regardless...

Always wondered if every (at least sub-2700) player who chooses to not disclose his/her trainer/team in interviews is really convinced about the value it adds beyond being a trend. Given how often one gets to hear it, have even begun lauding those who have no such qualms when it comes to sharing the credits...
