I remember when I was an avid duck hunter, it always took a few misses at the first of the season to get back in the swing of things. I'm glad you finally got one. That looked like a great supper. Tig is in her element, just needs dad to shoot straight. Grouse are hard to hit but she loves you anyways. Beautiful country Kevin. Those lue Grouse are pretty birds and you got some nice breast fillets off that bird. That meal is “Tig approved”

One of the best I ever had was a 365 hunter so she'd be disappointed in me most of the year. Grady, our newest casts like Tig. He had a pretty good pre-season and doesn't seem to be gun-shy. He dispossessed a neighborhood cat of a dove it had caught and proudly brought it back, alive, so he's got a soft mouth. Looking forward to getting him out and seeing how he does.
