Bros Aeroturtle's number 1 hater. In reality tho thank you for this, the War thunder sim/realistic dogfighting community has followed the trend of brainrot where every "duelist" and or pilot think they know what they're doing because they are aware of some terminology and stats of their favorite 4th gen jet. stfu please have some fun, make it interesting and actually put some brain power into manipulating your space and the energy state of your opponent, there's so much more to dogfighting than plainly turning. You should do more content like this because we don't actually have a semi decent content creator that does this type of stuff for War Thunder that makes it interesting by not only ever showing the F16, Mirage 2k, Gripen and Su 27.
both have similar poo sustain, both have similar insta aoa, but only 1 of these 2 can come close to posing a danger to 4th gens in a 1v1. intangible differences can mean a lot.

Wouldn't "Plane is dogshit in RB, good in sim" be true for at least american prop planes? Namely, you got way more time to climb and extend away without the match ending or you ending up in a 1 vs 10 (because your team of P47s, p51s and F4Us decided to larp as bombers and get BnZ'd by germans and turnfight zeros). At least, I find I perform way better with my P-51 cannonstang and F4U-4B corsairs because the sim environment allows for more disciplined play without game ending or impossible odds (whereas in ARB, playing american planes turns into get 2 kills, extend and regain altitude each time and now you're fighting 10 planes as last non-bomber on your team).
@@runakovacs4759 To an extent that is true. Especially for American planes insofar as their battle ratings are different in SB than RB. But often times the "well it's better in sim" thing is mostly cope. For instance...the regular P-47s might be better in SB...but the P-47N is just as bad in SB.
I find its overhyped and an easy fallacy to fall into, but does exist, mainly applies to planes that are dogfight reliant / have shit missiles that need a more protracted fight in gen 2-3+ (Late variant fitters for instance which want their wings forwards in a protracted yet agressive 2c type deal that takes time) which get ganked midfight in arb, or ones with insane sensor advantages for their tier, though thats more at farming bads than killing goods (T2/F1 with PD radar in a sim downtier, personal one-off experience with the F3H as a complete package, etc), the rest of it (and what I think squish means) is mostly one-off experience or underrating the RB version in the first place (F3H is better than people think to take my own bias but another example; mirage F1 is a beast in sim in my experience but mostly cause the way average sim players play against it is wacked and they get shoved by a magic2 if they have braincells so its like a perfect farmer. The only thing that gets "better" about it in sim is the fact its radar has no CW illuminator so no launch warning to RWR (Which is a big sim advantage but its only good again, against bads), its more just an underrated plane in ARB.) or there are planes that are absolutely oppressive at a near same tier or downtier (example, Ariete) but are ruined by a plane fully above them they get blackholed to fight (extremely rare, Ariete not included here) and the sim MM lets you game the system and play them at top of their bracket (older brs, F4E vs 4th gens, Tornado F3 early / ADV, currently the AV8B+ is a great example), these arent so much sim but an effect of exploiting sim's MM, and good planes that work in the uptier (MF1CT, F15A/J, etc) are oftentimes also kings of their downtiers as well anyways, so they take somewhat proportional benefit. I also think there's inverse examples. The base variant flanker is genuinely a better plane in ARB by far simply because your SPO15 is negated by missile diamonds and shit, the fact that IT went to 13.0 but not the sim one is insane in my opinion.
whats your problem with saying 1 circle and 2 circle? I use those terms to help people dogfight all the time. Stuff like, "hey your in a F8F, dont use the 2 circle against a BF109K4... you will loose. If you find yourself in a 2 circle, start to pull up in one point of the circle and then back down to make an offset 3 circle fight, when the time is right reverse your turn back into the 1 circle." Why does stuff like that trigger you, its all relevant and useful information, knowing these things made me a god in the F2 Sabre.
@squishface80085 Well, I'm just saying it how it is, I used that plane to grind all the way to the f15, I literally aced it for free in a very short amount of time. Besides the cl13, nothing held a candle to me in the 1v1. Unfortunately, US 8.7 teams have become so terrible that I had to give up playing it. But I'm glad you understand my point. People use terms like 1,2 circle because it gives them a base to follow.

Can we get p-26 vs SU-27SM?
p-26 neg diffs
Did a dueling session today MiG19-S vs MiG21 F13 and MiG 21S, guns only.
They seem to be close given our level of dogfight ability. What you think?
I think MiG-19S wins easily just by holding lag pursuit and looping.
drinking is danger!!!
tbh the Jets before PD are fun to play.
PD just oversimplifies things to the point where it causes brainrot.
i wanna watch an hour of f4e vs mig21 bis
agreed. especially with these guy's high level of dogfighting
