As someone who volunteers for the Kennedy campaign, I can speak for the rest of us when I say that AV24 is not in RFK Jr's or the campaign's best interests. In fact, when the campaign holds national ballot-access meetings, they make it expressly clear that we don't even count the ballot signatures that AV24 collects. Even if they meet a state's deadline, the campaign seeks to collect the necessary signatures for all 50 states before their respective deadlines solely through volunteer petition circulators within the campaign. 23 states were waiting on a VP pick before they could get started and other states have short windows so they have a specific 6-8 week window to collect signatures. I'm confident all 50 states will have RFK Jr. on the ballot in September.

Ranked choice voting has more traction (e.g. it's already in place in both Alaska and Maine, and needs to pass just one more time to add Nevada to the list). As far as the Electoral College, it used to decently align with the popular vote until about a century ago. The apportionment process following the Census was never meant to have the states fighting over a fixed number of 435 House seats (and therefore 538 Electoral College votes) every 10 years. The House (and therefore Electoral College) user to grow every decade based on the results of the Census, but the Reapportionment Act of 1929 artificially locked both at where they were based on the 1910 Census (again, 435 and 538 are just fake numbers created by this unconstitutional law, and are well below where they should be based on the most recent 2020 Census). Repeal that law, and, even though it won't bring the House and EC in perfect alignment with the popular vote, it will be a huge improvement--all without needing a Constitutional Amendment nor attempting to deprive Alaska, Delaware, Vermont, Montana, etc. of their Constitutionally-guaranteed minimum of 1 U.S. House Representative (and therefore 3 Constitutionally-guaranteed EC votes).

The only way to make third party candidates viable is to get rid of first-past-the-post. The only way to do that is to convince one of the parties to get rid of it, or hijack one of them and do it ourselves. After that, we can have as many parties as we want. Before that, any vote for a third party is a meaningless virtue signal that does nothing to dismantle the duopoly, unfortunately. Reminder that Bernie Sanders and the Squad, just a handful of politicians, have done more to popularize progressive values in the past several years than the Green Party (or any other third party) accomplished in DECADES. The American electorate elects more and more progressives to Congress and local legislatures every year because of this hijacking strategy. It's actually working, albeit slowly, unlike the third party strategy which has done nothing but lose. Absolute best case scenario for this loser strategy? Look no further than the Bull Moose Party, which actually got a substantial portion of the vote, more than any third party could dream of today, but all that did was (predictably) hand the election to their enemies. Of course, the only way to keep getting more progressives in office is to make sure we have an environment where Liberals are the scariest enemy. You can't do that as long as fascists are allowed to exist. It sucks, but yes, we do have to vote for Genocide Joe in the forthcoming election. Progressives can expand their influence in an America ruled by Democrats. They cannot do this in an America ruled by Trump, who actively seeks to dismantle every tool that progressives have found success with. Shit sucks, but you have to do the work. Politics doesn't feel good, and you should be suspicious of anyone selling you a political strategy that gives you that sweet, addictive emotion called righteousness. It will always lead you astray. Keep yourself grounded in actual real world outcomes. Don't die on the hill of the aesthetics of principle.

The key solution in this whole debacle is to get corporate money out of politics.
In 2010, the U.S. Supreme Court decided that Americans cannot prevent corporations from spending unlimited money to control elections, politicians, and policy.
In Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission , the court ignored the fact that corporations are creations of state law with government-derived advantages and labeled them, in the words of Justice Anthony Kennedy, “voices,” “speakers,” and yes, a “disadvantaged person or class.”
In this Wonderland, corporations are people, corporate money is “speech,” and laws restricting corporate political spending violate the First Amendment.
Nearly 80 percent of the public opposes the holding in Citizens United and supports a constitutional amendment to reverse the decision , according to multiple polls. If Americans so clearly oppose the fabrication of “corporate people” who can use the Constitution to strike down the real people’s laws, how did the folly of Citizens United ever happen? In fact, the case is the result of a well-funded and organized 30-year campaign to establish corporate constitutional rights as a means to trump democratic laws. Indeed, Citizens United is more like a victory parade for this campaign than a stumble or simple mistake of the Court.

This is a video about RFK.
A more perfect union; this channel has had cutting remarks for the DNC and RNC both, Trump and Biden both.
These guys are more like the cheerleaders for Bernie Sanders.
      But when approprate.
Right now it isnt a choice on who's president. SCOTUS has lined up the field goal for a Trump dictatorship.
It is a choice between an absolute dictatorship of the Trump family and Biden.
Technically Biden could take and use that set up as well, but he has made no effort towards doing so, and doing so with the state of mis-information and consperacy theories if Biden where to use all the tools and rulings that the MAGA crowd have cheered on to snatch an absolute victory it would spark civil unrest that might reach the level of civil war.
Trump winning might also spark civil war. At bare minimum a Trump win would see 4 years of constant protests. And thats assuming something is done to actually remove the Trump family.
And given Trumps prior track record with the BLM protests; the protests we would see under Trump would be forced into riots by Trumps actions.
Basically the way the powers that be are lined up at this moment; anything less then a clear Biden win and the USA will tear itself apart with every major metropolitan area in revolt of the suburbs and some of the rural areas but not all. There will be no peace to build anything else ontop of.
And even that is assuming that a Biden win will dampin the spirits of the MAGA faithful and thier brown noses and shirts.
