Will you please do the rear tire as well? I put on a new sprocket and works connection axle blocks and ince i tighten the axle bolt to spec the tire wont spin feeely. Then if i loosen axle nut it spins free again? Really appreciate the help
Sure I can make a video on it. At torque spec the rear wheel won’t free spin as much as the front wheel just due to weight and the chain and the connection to the front sprocket but you should still get a bit of spin out of it. Does it stop really fast or after about 3/4 of a turn?
There is probably a aluminum tube spacer, (about 3" long), that your axle fits through, that is suppose to snugly fit between the small bearing races inside of the hub. It may have fallen out of place, and you slid your axle through the bearings with out it between the bearing races. Then when you tighten the axle, you are pushing the inside races together, (the tube spacer keeps them from doing that), and are binding the balls of the bearing to the edges of their races, which will ruin the bearings if you ride it that way. If I am right, you know who to thank sir. :)
Use a pretty big Phillips screw driver, (or some kind of rod that will fit in the bearing), and get that tube between the bearing races again. You that screwdriver/rod through your swing arm on the other side, holding the tube in place enough, while you get the axle tough the tube on the other side. With that tube in place, you will not have the bearing drag after you tighten the axle.
Triple clamp doesn’t matter just make sure you tighten the bolts in a crisscross pattern. The inner tube on the bottom can rotate around freely in the upper tube so tightening the triple clamps with the wheel off for example won’t have an effect on the alignment.
If there are pinch bolts only in the right side, do i still need to align? The left suspension has threads for the axel so my quess is that it aligns by itself.
Great video helped me a lot with my XR👍 thank you

My forks won't rebound after I put the wheel back on. What did I do?
Probably over tightened clamps
Did those forks are stiff!
They are. I run mine pretty damn stiff. Lots of big sand whoops where I’m at so it helps with those.
Thanks for the video
Thanks. What about up in the triple clamps? Same thing basically?

Yes with that setup it should align.
Front wheel is clicking after new bearings
