I love this video, and am planning a local Sierra Club meeting to make baskets with bittersweet. I love your philosophy about asking what the land needs, and what we do doesn't have to be perfect. Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can. Thank you!
This is a fantastic video. So many highlights. So true, when we spend patient hours making such things we learn about how we talk to ourselves
Thanks!! Glad you enjoyed the video
Thanks yes keep on trying. Keep on keeping on. Diligence nurturing nature!!!
You know what I love about this? I don't need any money to make a basket and I'm pretty broke right now so this is very therapeutic.
Hey i don't care if you repeat very cool informative maine video thank you very much for your time i appreciate you 😊
Thanks for the information
This is great. I liked the idea of trying my hand at weaving a basket, but I could not bring myself to cut native vines for such an attempt. There is tons of bittersweet on my property that I am at at battle with--now I can try to do something with the vines that I pull out. Thank you!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!!
Eh i'd use native vines if I were you too. If it grows pretty aggressively, you can weave happily knowing that plant will come back. Of course, use advice at your own discretion, some plants are very slow growers, but vines naturally do regrow super quickq
I spotted asian bittersweet and i wondered if i can weave a basket with it.
You provided a ton of useful information here, but you repeated yourself a lot which made the video longer than I think it needed to be. Thanks for the info
So it goes! Thanks for your feedback. Glad to hear you gained something from this video.
