Great video! DHI IS a masterpiece! I have a 150ml bottle of a 2018 batch that smells amazing and performs great. It will always be in my collection.
My thoughts exactly Kyle, it's a beautiful fragrance, I have a 2017 150ml and a 2018 back up, absolutely love the stuff and will never be without it. Heads up for Dior Homme Parfum, another big love of mine.

If companies would just say:
"Hey, we're reformulating X fragrance for X reason"
It would be better imo, but reformulation is not the end of the world. We have so many choices it's ridiculous.

Sometime the ingredients become more restricted by ifra or perhaps they lost a source for one of the aroma chemicals. We as fans always hope it's not to lessen the quality and drive profit.
Dior Homme Intense is a fantastic fragrance. I enjoy it a lot and almost always get compliments when wearing it.

Just came from a store where i sprayed Dior Homme Intense on my arm. I sprayed it maybe 4-5 times on my arm and another 4-5 on tester strip. After 30 minutes, no projection whatsoever. Complete skin scent. Tester strip is the same. I'm afraid the new batches are reformulated...Pitty

The Dior home intense i bought like 3-4 years ago is way different from the one i got last year.. New one seem to suck on smell and length. And not getting any complements wich where so regular on the old one.

Its a legend fragnance.. worth blind buying!! I got intense compliment with it.. a 50 year old telling me i wish my man smelled like that, and notice females wanting to sit closer to me than usual etc i could go on

Hey bro I was just looking for someone to ask this question to! I bought my first Dior homme intense bottle in 2020 and have heard non stop about the older variations being better. I finally found a 2018 batch that’s a bit pricier then the 2020. Is the 2018 batch worth getting??? Because some people have said the batches have to be older then 2016 to notice a difference?
My 2020 is very weak, thoroughly pissed off about it, will try it with more sprays on the same spot.
I get 8+ hours from it. Identical to my 2017.

I'm so tempted to try DHI but Dior's just don't do it for me!! Farenheit smells like 91 octane gas imo, sauvage I could never get a feel for it agter going through 4 sample bottles of the EDP, Dior homme sport was a 👎👎 when I tried it in store!!! I'm gonna keep popping in sephora and see if they have DHI on display

CH Men is definitely not the same. The most recent formulation may be reminiscent of the original formulation but it is very different both in scent and performance (which was moderate before and now woeful). The distinctive grassy note is pretty much gone in the new formulation and was toned down incrementally with each formulation. Very unfortunate because it was that note that gave it a sort of unique sophisticated and sexy vibe to compliment the playfulness of the sugar/leather combo. I would go as far as saying that the grass note put CH Men in that rare category of masterpiece fragances! That combo is no longer there and so the effect IS very different. (It is now basically just a playful and less unique/ sophisticated scent). Add to that almost useless longevity and projection and u have a fragrance that is not worth purchasing in my opinion. Certainly in the case of CH Men as I suspect for some other fragrances, formulations have fundamentally changed the scent and seriously compromised the performance...for others like La Nuit in which only the strength or 'richness' is affected and it remains basically the same scent...it may not make a huge difference if the performance is still acceptable or even good.
What about the DHI 9E01 batch ?

Yeah haha, I bought DHI from Ebay a few months ago and I only paid around 130 Euros. It's only a small 50 ML bottle, but since I only need 4 sprays of it for a good wearing, it will take a long time to finish the bottle:)

Valentino Uomo Intense absolutely destroys Dior Homme Intense IMO... way more things going on which makes it far more interesting, assertive and masculine.
