Four White Walls seems to be a common theme in this EP. JT is referring to something over and over again. He wants us to know something. I want to know.
+Joshua Ruiz Four White Walls was a song on HATE and the song dealt with the general feeling of depression. Hate was an album that embodied a lot of the restrained anger that carried over from their issues with record labels, the death of Casey Calvert, as well as other personal strife. Despite HOPE having a lot of lyrics about friends and family, HURT deals a lot more with a depression that's lingered, and not only effects them, but the people around them. After Casey died, they all bonded tightly together, and when Eron and Micah left the group, it seems like they're dealing with the fact that they are, in fact, getting old. And it hurts. That's just how I see it.
+IndigoOdyssey Oh yeah I know all of that. What I'm saying is that he mentions it twice in this album. Furthermore, I LOVE that his throws back to old songs in the EP trilogy
+Joshua Ruiz Yeah, it really gives it a sense of continuity and flow. Listening to the whole trilogy in one sitting is equal parts awesome and emotional.
