I'm just glad this didn't result in Melissa getting pissed off and Christi saying something about her marriage.
That's because this occasion didn't warrant it. Melissa started the whole argument when she tattled on Chloe and Christi skipping dance for one day and going to the movies. Like, who does that? Christi has said when you attack her children, all bets are off and I don't blame her!

Thats exactly what I thought when I saw that photoshoot. Abby set it up for Maddie to have the best back to school look. She still didn't win but it's clear what Abby was doing.

She tried to rig it but they picked Kendall. She made Maddie look the most like a back to school outfit. Chloe as a rocker did not fit at all. Some of the girls girls other issues may have worked but not for the back to school issue.

These people that come in seeking for someone, don’t care about what Abby’s says or who her favourites are. Abby opinion really doesn’t matter to them, what makes people think her opinion is that important to these people in their professional careers, it’s for their benefit not hers. Even if she puts a good word in for Maddie in the end they are going to choose who they like best for the part and who’s the right fit for it, regardless of what Abby says. Maddie got the drop dead diva part because they liked Maddie, Chloe got the music video because they liked Chloe, also the Joffrey ballet, Kendall got dance track because they thought she was right for the job! People shouldn’t put down maddies successes just because Abby favoured her, she is capable of getting opportunities out of talent not just because of abby. These moms always made it seem like Maddie was overrated whenever she got anything but when anyone else got an opportunity it was all celebrations Maddie was lucky to even get a well done

i was just causally scrolling down the comments and god i didn’t realise it said 4 frickin yrs ago on some of the comments.
abby assigned what the girks fit best as. chloe is good at dark roles, kendall and asia are sassy, nia is a strong athletic girl, maddie is a dedicated rule follower, kenzie is a little silly and goofy, brooke wanted to cheerlead and paige is beautiful and would probably be prom queen (i know brooke and paige didn't end up coming, but that was what abby planned). not rigged, just whatever fit the girl in question.
A rocker look for back to school doesn't make sense at all though.

It's been that way all through the show. They complain Maddie is the favourite, she's the group leader, blah blah blah which, I admit, is true. Yet, when Maddie is away (later programmes when she was filming or attending award) their saying "we really need Maddie here", "we're at a disadvantage as we don't have Maddie".
