usa is always trying to keep the rest of the world from having wmd but we're the only folks to nuke the hell out of another country. Unnecessarily, too, regardless of what they try to tell you.

doubly worse, that people don't realize how much non-stop propaganda is being fed to them through movies, media and pop culture; and by exactly whom. ""The desire to do good, has long been exploited by those who wish to do evil."
You know when this movie came out a lot of us thought this would be the pinnacle of the MCU 10/10 +A as good as it gets. The funny part is in retrospect, we know the S-tier stuff is yet to come.
That is crazy to think about, isn't it? When I walked out of the theater opening night for Avengers, I didn't think Marvel could possibly, in a million years, top that. What a naive fool I was.
6:56 When this movie premiered, everyone flinched at this scene. The audio was absolutely perfect. You literally don't expect a nice quiet personality like Bruce (to keep Hulk in check) to just suddenly exert an aggressive move like that. I remember all of us jumped. The genuine fear you see Nat giving off is superb. And those agents outside that assembled so fast before standing down. Ooh... if the Hulk had busted out earlier, it would have been way worse. XD
I saw this 3 times in 2 days when it came out. It's still one of my favorite movies of the MCU. My number one will be coming up in the next few movies. I love how into this movie you were. Very authentic reaction. I can't wait for more
Great job, Devin!! Stan Lee's cameo was at the end. Devin, the Avengers in this movie: Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff), Hawkeye (Clint Barton), the Incredible Hulk (Bruce Banner), Thor, Iron Man (Tony Stark) and Captain America (Steve Rogers). The last figure you saw in the end credits scene was Thanos. You will certainly see him again.
Just another fun fact: The waitress that gets saved by Steve and then reports it on the news that Captain America saved her life is actress Ashley Johnson. She's been in a few films, but what most fans recognize her the most for is her voice acting as Ellie from The Last of Us games. ;) There's also a deleted scene where Steve eats at the cafe she works at, sketches the Stark tower and has a brief conversation with her. So when she is successfully saved and sees Steve unmasked during the Battle of New York, that's how she recognized him. Stan Lee also had a cameo in that deleted scene too but they decided to put Stan's cameo during the news montage near the end when they made it a deleted scene.
Before Marvel movies, I probably only went to the theaters once a year. After thou, I probably went 5 times a year. They brought back the cinema experience that I loved as a child. Darn this pandemic. I miss theaters.
Based on your interest on government-superhero relations, you’re going to love some of the places this series goes, especially with Cap’s character. And like some others have said, the next Cap movie (Winter Soldier, which I think is 3 movies away in the MCU order, after Iron Man 3 & Thor 2) is your 10/10. That might be my (and a lot of fans’) favorite in the whole series.
I remember seeing this in the cinemas on opening night being filled with anxiousness that this wasn’t going to become an over bloated mess. What I felt inside the theater along with everyone else was a sense of unbridled joy giddiness these characters made us love about them as kids. I couldn’t wait to see it again

This is my favorite Marvel movie. Winter Soldier comes in second. I wish Joss had kept up this level of quality in the second movie and Justice League.
I'm really enjoying your reactions so far. Glad you're having so much fun with the films. Cap's my favorite avenger--as you noted, Cap's all heart and humble strength--but there really isn't a bad character in the bunch. It's great seeing all the Avengers come together in this movie, and know that it works with all these big personalities. Keep up the great content dude!
It's less about helping the government and more about helping people. All of them know the responsibilities they have and each of them is a hero, even if sometimes their personalities don't convey that.

For those of us who have seen the whole series and have been watching your channel, we already know which Marvel movie you're going to give a 10. Yeah, at least one coming up is going to get that 10 score.
11:51 Since you have watched Band of Brothers Devin, it was definitely written in the story of this movie that the old man who stood up to Loki was a Holocaust survivor. He literally stood up to the God of Mischief and stated he would never be subjugated again by a higher power. He already had to survive that lifestyle in order to get to where he is now. Huge respect to that man and the character he played.

After he blows it up from the inside and kinda crash lands, you can see the Shawarma food joint just behind Tony when he gets up and the Chitauri close in again to fight him. That's what he brings up after Hulk roars him awake. XD And, the post credits of them eating Shawarma silently was not in the original theater cut. It was filmed later and then added into the movie when it released on DVD/bluray. They had to ask the cast to come back to film that scene. Here's how you can tell, Chris Evans has his hand covering his mouth, as Cap is leaning over looking exhausted. In fact, Chris had already started growing a beard for another movie he was casted in. So instead of rendering it in post-production with CGI, he just leaned over and used his hand to cover it from the camera. ;)
