I appreciate this a lot, I work for axe throwing bar as an axepert and I'm getting myself an axe from your company. I'm thinking of getting the butcher and ace of spades, I looked at the reviews on Amazon and it looks like a lot of bad reviews but some said to buy right off your site instead, hope I don't get a faulty axe. Also thank you for the tutorial videos you post. I can't wait for this to blow up :)

The frame rate is bad, but still entertaining. Beats spending money on ESPN

In 2020 is the rule still “ as long as the axe is out of his hand before he crosses the line, no foot fault” ?

      Hi there!
The rules have been updated in 2020 where players cannot cross the line until the score has been read by the judge.

So rendezvous hawk throwing has gone mainstream like... bowling? I would love to see an old Skinner roll in there with his rusted old hawk and knock it out of the park. However! I am glad to see folks having some good healthy fun. I also like the good sportsmanship and camaraderie. I just might have to dust off my hawks and see if I still have some "thunk" in me.

I agree, it looks like a ten pin based format and layout that's been adapted. It's very entertaining IMO. I'd also love to see some of they great throwers from other codes of throwing taking these WATL rules throwers on and I'd agree, probably knock them out the park [or, out of the 'lanes' ?].
I came back for a second watch to this one and would show it to others too, for me, it has 'mileage' and also potential for compromised rules tourneys with they from this code taking on they from other codes under adapted rules formats.
I do think the 'bull' [bullseye] is too big, either that or should only count as a Bull score if the 'majority' of contact is within it ... would sort 'the men from the boys' [it's only an expression ladies, whom I know some are able enough and would also be keen to take on all comers] at this code/rule set.
Anyone who's enjoyed this and never competed, even in private, socially, cannot know how much more exhilarating and also difficult it is compared to how easy these throwers are making it 'look' ... which itself is a credit to their obvious skill and control of adrenalin.

Kump looks like a fun lovin' fella, the others are taking themselves way too seriously.
[Judge looks like he forgot to take the hanger out of his shirt.]
It looks like a pub game (pub darts but with axes] compared to established WORLD axe throwing ... could be fun but I have to agree with the commentator, the Bullseye is stupidly big at that range ... there are people in the WORLD that can stick axes to a standard that the format here would get very obviously flawed very quickly.
But there's merchandise, so it must be a serious 'World' league, right ?
